I bought MT Mugello Maker in 4250/- locally, if you see the last page. That should probably fit your requirement well.

    Budget: < 7000
Needed features: Antifog/pinlock is must for me, good soundproof/noise cancellation till 80s atleast
Good to have: internal sun visor, bluetooth support(pocket or embedded if any)
If you see last page, I bought MT Mugello in 4250/- (Pinlock Visor ready in 1450/- extra) and very good noise cancellation till 90-100kmph, tested myself. No internal sun visor but that's how I wanted a helmet. Double D ring strap and DOT+ECE at this price is a steal.

Stretch your budget to 6500/- and you get MT Revenge which fits all your requirement with a Pinlock Visor, Double D ring strap and DOT+ECE+5 star Sharp rating.

But a helmet should not be in one piece after being whacked by a sledgehammer! It should have broken into pieces. The shattering of the helmet is what absorbs and distributes the force of impact. If the shell compresses and regains it shape. Then that's bad.
In that case, the roadside helmets deem more secure than Vega/SB/Studds(no cushioning there though)? Kinda confused here. Please shed some light on this Sen-pai.

You have answered your own question! A helmet is a sum of all the parts that go into building it. Not just the shell.

The helmet shell shouldn't be flexible. If you see the video, the slow-mo shots, the shell is flexing inwards greatly. Now imagine what would happen if a human skull was inside that. The impact of the hammer instead of getting spread through the shell is getting directly transferred to the rider's head. That shell which is getting pressed inwards is pressing down on the skull. Instead of the shell shattering, the skull will. Not what you want happening.

Unfortunately people see a helmet after a crash and think that if there is no damage on the shell exterior then that is a good helmet! A good helmet is designed to break upon impact and not made to be reused! You can buy many helmets, not skulls!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

It's available online at 7500+ but at the same local store from where I bought my Mugello, they quoted something less than 7K.

            Regards.

Revenge price is same as spg website but visor should be without pinlock, you have to buy it separately.

You might be right about it as I can't seem to recall that, that makes sense though.

                    • MT helmets ISI mark and Size.

                      Hi!
I'm planning to buy mt helmets and non of them comes with ISI marks, i think traffic police will challan me for that and second question is that my head circumference is 57, which is in the Size L range, till today i've used xl (i took whatever dealer gave). Will it be too tight if i buy L size?

Can i also install inner visor in mugello, if i want to?

U been living under a rock
But Thats all right for now ,
Isi is the minimum standard required to ride in india , dot or ece exceeds ISI.
You head side is 57 so a Medium will be the right size for you.
                        L is 58-59
                        Xl is 60
Plz wear the correct size, even if it suffocating for the very first time and few days. Otherwise a helmet is of no use if you crash with an oversized comfortable helmet.

                          It now costs 7450/-

You have to buy pinlock insert seperately but visor comes pinlock ready

DOT and ECE provide better protection than isi certified helmet.
Go to the shop and try on the helmet, it should be snug fit, helmet should not move around.
It will be a bit tight for first few days but after some usage the padding takes the shape of your face and is comfortable to wear while being snug.

Do get the right size though, a loose fitting helmet will not protect your head.
No you can not install a sun visor inside any helmet that doesn't come with it.

No! A Large size cannot be too tight for you unless you have really dense and big hairs. But at 57 head size, High chances of NO!

Which city are you based it. Mostly in south the cops have found this way of looting people with ISI mark and bullshit. Not in Maharashtra and North side of India.

A new helmet has no shape. It will press your cheeks and stay a bit tight for first 10-12 days but then it will start to take your face shape and foam will compress accordingly.
