SID, There is no good place to buy any other stuffs than helmet in trivandrum. Even yesterday, jayamohan bro drove to AQ to buy his cramsters. helmets are avilable at amba auto, but are much oevrpriced.Ghost riders also sell them but they take stock from AQ only.

dude, dont compare booligan with this, the make quality is far far better. I have used booligan extensively . My friend's booligan's front flipping part's spring broke off, then the inner glass came out, the padding just went off without doing anything and i had to buy another set!!!...
Main thing between this vega and cross is the weight factor, it helps a lot during long tours. Then the shell design, i liked this one than cross which is mostly plain(not the graphics). The visors are easier to get for vega and are also priced sanely at 400 bucks. I tried all when i went to buy and found the fitting perfect with vega.

No doubt, AQ is the largest dealer over here and hence selling at the most competitive rates. comparison..i ve made in the previous quote
I was also kind of zeroing in on the new vega..where did you got it from? And what was the price?

    • My new Lid

Finally got myself a new lid - AGV (MPA) for 2.1 K.
Considered all other options, loved the new vega & LS2 but they were stretching a bit away from by budget of 2k. Anyways AGV is total VFM product, bit heavy then others but manageable. Fit & finish may not be as comfy as others but totally felt comfortable enough even after continuously riding for 2-3 hrs most of which was in heavy traffic. Felt very stable at speeds above 100 & not much whistling even when the air vents were open. Went for the clear visor as the shopkeeper alowed me a test ride with tinted visor at night & visibility was pretty low. Only problem I face so far is the visor gets fogged up early mornings but clears up pretty soon if I leave a bit of the visor open.
      Few pics attached:

PS: The seller pitched in a original LS2 helmet bag for free

Neil, I've done a jugad as per Santa's suggestion. Got AGV's clips and visor on my GPOne. It leaves about .5 cm gap at the lip and doesn't close completely. You can possibly chop off some lining there but I didn't do it. That's no issue as he visor is superb now and the noise levels similar to what the shitty GPOne visor has. May be you wanna try it.

I have just sent a mail to Vega clarify the doubts i have. Lets get the reply from Vega India itself.I really love to understand why there is no Safety or Quality certification for those helmets.

                              • I have seen a lot of Vega's Boolean and MX helmets in Cochin but not the kind Varun has.
LS2 Helmets are very good."Spares" in Cochin stocks few.
