@ACE HUNTER: The CROSS models i saw had RATCHET type locks.. I saw D-Lock system in LS2, but even in XXL size, it didn't fit m head..

P.S. - Bluff and bargain for discounts even though the shop might have signs saying NO BARGAINS, FIXED PRICE.. That's how i lopped off near half grand off the sticker price..

Guyzzz went to shop for a helmet yesterday(actually searching from 1 month).... Could not find a shop with good helmets like AVG, MPA and all finally settled with a 'vega formula hp' helmet less cost 1.3k don't know wether a worty one or not I am going to use it for timebeing till my next trip to Bangalore.....

But the shop fellow is saying It has a washabale interior pads and demonstrated how to remove them and a very easily replacable break proof visior. Posting a few pics

Pls tell me if this is a good one to continue with or I must shop once again in Bangalore...

hey bro , u need not worry about it man , I stay in bangalore and got this very same helmet , except , i got it in blue , apart from the vents being useless i think this a decent helmet and does it's job , so you don't have to shop for one here , unless u don't like the looks or fit of the thing ...

@tibby: actually I am not that worried that about ventilation. I am not going on any long drives, I ride with in the city and for max time of 30min in one strech and summer has nearly come to end... So I will continue with this one for some time... I will go for a better one after some time.

@nand15 & @lijok: thanks bro for sharing your experience.... I will definetly continue with this lid for some time..

Moreover I can use the extra bucks to buy some extra riding gear...

Nice helmet for 3.2 yar..i got same design cross but in different color and graphics..mine comes with rubberized finish..and i had to pay 3.8 for it..yours is glazed finish or rubberized? anyway good for that price

I have the same helmet model but a different colour at the same price of 3.2K
its black and it has a clear coat glass finish but also the matt rubbery finish was available for the same price..

Solutions needed..!

The screw which holds the visor has broken....

The issue is that screw head is detached from its tail and the tail section which goes into the hole is still inside the hole.

So I cannot put up a new screw without the older screw's tail making out from the hole...


I will put up pics soon.

Any resolutions..?

Thanks SiD13.. i've the one with the GLAZED FINISH.. Its really awesome.. one funny thing though..When i went to office today morning with the helmet, my colleagues were like, "WOW, great helmet".. When they enquired bout the price, they were like, dude, you can get helmets with SNAZZIER graphics for Rs.150/-, then wy waste money..? ;-) I jus smiled at those NOOBs.. ;-)

Try to use a screw driver with a magnetic tip.. use the screw head and try to insert it inside the hole.. if it goes in smoothly, then take it out, put 1 TINY drop of anabond on the other end of the broken screw head and re-insert it carefully and hold it in pushing the screw head against the body for 30 secs.. After that, you can slowly remove the screw out.. be careful not to use too much anabond, or it might leak into the sides of the thread and jam it there PERMANENTLY.. Best of Luck.. ;-)

Yesterday when i went to Mahalaxmi in karol bagh, they tried hard to sell me the same for rs. 4200/- which was reduced to rs. 3600/- without any bargain (...so i guess it can go a bit further down ). Although the helmet was looking attractive and the built quality also felt decent but i was not sure about the make so i didn't buy it.

they told me its a Thai brand, but when i checked its Chinese make !!
..... guys please give feedback
..... should i go with the same/ how much should i pay ??
