Better still, dip some cotton in vodka and apply on the visor. Alcohol is non abrasive and repels water on surfaces.

Instead buy "RainX" (not sure of the spelling). I use it in my cars and it repels water very well and doesnt allow any droplets to stay on the glass. Available at most shops that sell imported car care products. Its basically a small bottle with windshield washing/cleaning fluid. You can get it from EVO, cambridge layout. (the shop details are on the ninja thread and in ur visitor msg's).

Buy a nice Microfibre cloth and hide it somewhere in ur R15 and use that to wipe the Visor

Can't keep wiping the visor when riding in the rain man, so asked.

Did think about this : Clear Vue Rain Repellent | Thought it is kind of overpriced. Probably heading there over this weekend to pick up Turtle Wax and stuff. We can go there together if you are interested

The only "non sticky oil" i have come across is Parachute non sticky coconut oil.

@rdna:how much does that cost ? I mean is it worth it ? coz our time riding in the rain is not all that high ... maybe we could manage with our own lil solutions ... just a thought ...

P.S: I use a 3M fog demister for the inside of the visor , to prevent it fogging up , incase ur lids don't have a breath deflector or an air vent ( mine doesn't )... it works okay ...

Potato for a long time now.... I dunno about Vodka... that was suggested by Aditya :P I will never let alcohol near me while riding... especially when back here cops sniff you for cheking (I know vodka doesnt have a odour)

The only time i'd like alcohol while riding, is when my engine can run on it. Alcohol powered crotch rocket.

Wax polish is not recommended. It will cause the plastic to become glazed and affect visibility.

I have made up my mind for buying LS2 Phobia. I checked major stores here in Hyderabad (AdventureOnTheRocks , few helmet stores in Somajigudda etc.) but couldn't find one. Thinking of getting it from Mumbai,Pune or Bangalore(via friends) . Can anyone point to reliable LS2 dealers having Phobia and the least price I need to shell out. Plus does Phobia come with extra visor .

I just checked the catalogue of LS2 lids LS2 Helmets but couldn't find LS2 Phobia. Is something fishy about Phobia or was it a limited edition stuff. Need some insight
