Dude, nice lid man..I like it..matching the color of your bike i guess your comment says it all that your pockets are fully burnt for atleast a long period of time Congrats!!!!!!! cheers.

tragedy (accident)

i always wear my full face face helmet while travelling. i wear it even for short distance ride. i ride my fz16 and never touch my bike with out wearing a helmet.
but yesterday on 11/9/2010 i was riding an activa for a very shot distance about 1-2km. i was riding at a speed of 30-35km/h. i lost control over my activa(don't know how i lost control, it was not even in fractions of seconds) i always ride a motorcyle(fz16) so was riding it in the same way like fz.
i fell down on the road and fell on my face (worst thing, i wasn't wearing my helmet for the first time[ever in my life] since when i started riding motorcycle).it was a very bad feeling after falling down. i was very nervous i found that one of my upper jaw front teeth came out. looking at i was very afraid. after sitting for few minutes on my activa i felt i am loosing my conciousness. i was ok after some time..

i lost my 3 teeths, minor injury on my nose and on my forehead, some minor scratches on my elbow and knee. i thank god i didn't suffer any head injury or broken limb. thank you god

guys i learnt one more lesson from my crash, that when a teeth is completely out from its place, carry that teeth immediately to the hospital(dentist), doctor said that if accident was within time span of previous 1hr, that teeth can be replanted..

guys i request you please please wear your full face helmet even for a small distance ride.

Talking of bankrupcy, I also got a brand new (and credit card busting) helmet too! Pictures next week when I'm back in town...

Sorry to hear that...sounds like a nasty fall. Second that on the advice to wear a helmet all the time - I strap mine on even if I go to the neighbourhood store for grocery shopping.

Finally got the Lid I wanted to buy for a long time . Got it for 3K at notorious Helmet Paradise. Had a tough time during negotiations but didn't pay heed to their nonsense .

Any good decent helmet shops in Bangalore with decent options? I am buying my first helmet on my own and I don't want to get duped. You guys can also suggest a decent helmet of around 1.5-3k.

I chose White with black graphics. Yeah the owner won't let you speak . But I made sure I don't give him anything more than 3K

ohh great .. even mine is white ...
it would be great if you could just check whether the padding at the bottom of your helmet which has leather over it ... is properly fitted or not ??
as in ...is the plastic thing coming out if you try to pull it out from the bidding ??
and which visor did you choose??
