This had come up on this thread a while back. Basically the Cross guys have come out with a range of affordable (relatively speaking) helmets that are priced at around 1800 bucks. The padding in this is not the same as that of the more expensive Cross options. Good for its price.Originally posted by darkknight View PostThere are now 2 varieties of cross available now both bought from different places
seen these kinda ones starting at 1.8k in mumbai around a month back
Asked the dealer about it & he was not forthcoming with answers ,got suspicious & didn't pursue any further as I was not in need of it

does anyone who has the ls2 helmets know if the ls2 dragon and the ls2 phobia has the same fitting or not , the shop guy also told me phobia was more heavier,
i tried both the helmets and phobia was very tight and they had only one size,
i tried the cross which was more loose and the lightest, the dragon in the above pics was for 2.5k and cross was 1.7ksigpic

@all:- Guys am searching for a new helmet since i have broke my previous ones due to my rough handling.
My budget is 2.5k. The cheaper it is, the better. Am having a lil big head & i dont care if the helmet is lighter or heavier until it is comfy to me & safety is not compromised. I would be mostly riding in the city. The helmet should be good enough in bangalore rains.
Am thinking about LS2 or cross (the one for 1700). Any other suggestions are also appreciated. Thanks in advance

Picked it from bikebandit.com for USD 61 (including shipping to NY)
My friend who was in NY for work brought it down here for me
I must say here that bikebandit is an awesome place to shop at online. They are very helpful with even a live chat feature available during working hours!
My helmet was delivered within 3 days of placing the order & making the payment
