Guys, here in Chennai, AGV's are avilable for 2.5k with bill and warranty. Though it sounds very tempting for me, I ve heard from my friends that those aren't true AGV's but are MPV's. I really don't understand. Should I go ahead and buy them?

yes those aren't the real "AGV" as MPA is the distributor for AGV in India ... But MPA-AGV's are a real good brand in their own right ...

MPA has tied up with AGV to provide co branded MPA AGV helmets and these have been available in the market for quite a while. The quality is good and you get them in good designs as well. help needed guys
Hi all, I need some help from the experts out there. I went to buy a helmet and being impulsive in nature i purchased one. it is a LS2 Piston Head. The guy who sold it said that it is a special edition helmet. I got it for 6000 bucks. now i want to know wheather it is really worth it or not. it has air vents, detachable cushions and feels good but still i would like to have an opinion. the shop keeper told me that if i don't like it i can come and get it replaced. should i get it replaced ?? if yes which one should i go for ???

The same pistonhead was bought by spiderweb(rohit) and was soon sold to my frnd here at tvm, He said it costed him abv 4k but 6k is bit too much. Hd been to A.H Helmets last Sunday....was plannin to visit the shop since quite some time. Needed to buy a helmet for daily use. One thing I should mention out here is the shop is well stocked & the owner, Mr Hemant was really helpful & patient. I normally require a large sized helmet n could hardly get into most of the lids he showed within my budget
. But still he was kind enuf to let me try out every possible option. Finally, I chose an MPA-AGV in solid black. He changed the padding so that it could fit ma head. He quoted around Rs. 2100 for the lid but once I mentioned my xBhp affiliation, he brought down the price to Rs. 1850 . Didn't have the heart to bargain further so I agreed upon the price...The fit n finish of the helmet are quite gud n its not too heavy as well. Weighs as much as my Vega Shadow.
P.S.- Hemant Bhai gave me a tip that in case any of us are intrestd in buying Knee guards, he is going to hold a SALE in the third week of Dec
. Plus he is gonna get some new stock as well...
