Guys got a LS2 speed helmet last weekend from Chopra Automobiles here in delhi for 3.4k .
For LS2 Big one and for all others LS2s he was asking 3.5k.
I am feeling, i was conned in this purchase after reading that the same helmet is coming at 2k which is 1.4k difference.

But the LS2 speed goes good with my Pearl white RTR180 so got a reason not to be sad.
I upgrarded from Steelbird Bieffe to LS2 speed.

Congrats for your new lid,dude! Anyway,I have checked with many dealers across Delhi/NCR and no one is ready to sell it for anything less than 3.5k.So,you got a fair deal.Need not to crib about it ..I might buy the same lid for that price too if my friend fails to courier one from Bangalore in a week's time.

OT: I see you having a lot of things common with me.I reside in Noida and occasionally Chandigarh.I have a pearl white RTR180 too.I am planning to go for the LS2 Speed only.I am also upgrading from the Steelbird Bieffe.So by rights,I should be conned as well.. I might end-up paying 3.4k to Chopra Automobiles as well..

Either way it's a great helmet, just wish I hadn't wasted 1500 bucks on the 3g, by the way, here it was available in one colour only, just happened to suit myself and match the ride, technically I paid the same

yeah before going to d shop even i was under impression of them being 3.5k or more. But was amazed to see the rates quite lower(2-3.3k)

just got this AGV Dreamtime Rossi edition as bday present from my wifey!!!...perfect fit and it will go with any color bike coz its got all the colors!!..i just loved the splash of colors...sooo much of youth going into it!......it was a clash between the Rjays Hootchie mamas and this but finally gave it in as my wife just loved it! nd then she says its your present for your bday and on getting the new bike(GSXR750)!!man just love her and her gift!

Of late,I have been hearing a lot about LS2 prices crashing down to as low as for 2.5 k at several places.

Are you guys sure about authenticity of these helmets? Are they original and imported helmets?

I have sent an email to adventure-on-the-rocks asking about why they are still selling LS2 helmets at high-prices(3.5-4K).And the reply I got is this..

Thanks for writing to ON THE ROCKS.

Yes, we can ship the order at your door step. Please note that the prices of ORIGINAL LS2 in market varies from 3500-4500. We stock only certified ECE and DOT standards helmets. If you are getting an LS2 at 2.5K, feel free to buy that but you will regret it buying at the later stage. If LS2 is priced in 2k-2.5 then it is no more an Imported Brand. It is equivalent to any other local brands available.

Anyone would like to shed some more light on this? Have the prices really come down? Or,are these cheap alternatives?

I am in dilemma,right now,as which one to buy..

Due to current market dynamics (dont ask for further details ) prices of LS2 helmets have come down to the 2.5 k range across the country. These are not fake LS2 helmets. Dealers are trying to clear existing stock everywhere and they are in a hurry. Those selling it at the older price are probably the ones stuck with older stock / hoping for higher margins.

My recommendation - If you have set your eyes on a helmet in the LS2 / Cross range, this is the perfect time to pick one up. Prices will definitely go up soon. Maybe back to the old rate, maybe higher.

^ Cross helmets are being discarded, no new models are coming up. Go in for the LS2.
