helloo guys,
Got a new helmet last week.Its a Cross Cruze model.Dealer quoted 2500rs,bargained and made a deal of 1700rs. So me being a newbee into helmets, please shed some light on cross helmets, their durability and its VFM??? is it worth 1700 rs??? And how good are tinted visors on night rides?? And does the helmet require any specific maintaining???

CRUZE costs only around 1.8k without bargaining.and its a decent helmet for its price.

One of my friends is coming from the UK next month. Does it make sense to get a lid for myself from there? If so, which full face should I be looking for with a 4-5k (obviously INR) budget?

Hello Friends,

I need a good helmet within the range of Rs 2000-2500.
But, the issue is my size, most of the helmets I tried is loose for my head.
most of the shops here in Noida does not know about size of helmets .
They mostly have XL and a few L size. For me, it seems I need 'M' assuming on the looseness of L sized helmets.
Please suggest some decent shops in Delhi NCR with stock of all sizes.

PS: Most shops here say to tie some clothes around head then wear helmets

Try balaclavas. They can be helpful in fitting a helmet snugly. (But not a wrong sized helmet)

I know B.P.Roadies, I also checked there, found no big atleast small collection. have 2/3 helmets but no graphics one. Nothing about Cross. Any other store?

Besides BP Roadies there is only ONE shop in Wellington who charges like a dacoit but yes he has some plenty good and expensive ones .
He must be convinced if you are a newbie to have a look into them.
Else go with someone who is a regular there.

Choose from the Models and order in BP Roadies thru BUNTY.
Can ping my reference there, he will surely bring it.

Helmets from Yamaha in india

Helllo All i have found out very good options for all Yamaha lovers, India Yamaha has launched three types of helmet's.
One is a flip up one called as Tuor-X (MRP 1590)
other one is Sz-X its a full face one. (MRP 890)
& A open face one which is open face Jet-X (MRP 990)

the Tour-X has very good decal designs which are matching to R15 & Fz series colours and the quality n looks are amazing job well done to Yamaha people. they have a joint colabration with Studds its the same one Studds is giving in market 3G. Both the helmets have same MRP but yeah Yamaha has given a addeed advantage to it's customers these deigns are only availaible at Yamaha dealerships all india.

Dude i got your point you can check any helmet which has head size of 570 mm its actualy medium but still you do not get a good fit you can measure your head size n tell me i can tell you which brand is having ISI certification over the same size. And you can parralelly check your nearest yamaha dealership they have one amazing design in flip up helmet it will suit your R15 n will save your head in decent price of rs 1600. what say

Please help me out here guys. Need a lid soon. Have been using the Ninja 2G for some time now. But need a new one. Bowled over by the SparX helmets, specially Rebel. Will it come under the 4k budget I've mentioned?
Also, would be very grateful if any of you could provide me some sites from where I can order them in UK.

Yes, I liked the attached Helmet; unfortunately there is only one dealer in Noida "J.M. Motors" and they do not have the new stock of Yamaha Accessories. No helmets, No Tank pads etc

As I'm in Office, So can't measure the Head size.. as don't have a measurement tape with me and It would awkward in office even I had one

Would Try visiting The Dealer today evening to check arrival of new accessories.

PS: Can any one confirm whether Chopra's accept Cards? or I need to carry Cash?

yes few helmets are there in chrome finish , vega boolean and studds ninja 3g
