    Hi guys,
Does anyone use the cramster Dash gloves?
    Reviews please?
Compared to the Rynox Shield Pro SPS gloves, how are they?
The ReGear store salesman here in Chennai told me they were equal if not better.
    What do you think?
Primary use is for rides that are usually 300-400 kms/day in all seasons.(will leather be an issue)

    Hi guys,

Thank you so much for guiding me to get the proper riding gears. I wanted to go in steps, so didn't spend heavily.

Got Rynox Air GT 3 Grey/Red 2XL fits me perfectly. Safetech CE Level 2 all around except chest. Tried Solace Rival too, but the wrist zip was low quality and didn't like colour combination. ₹6350 at Motogear, Chennai

SMK Stellar Dyanamo with Pinlock 30 fits perfectly without any pressure points in L size - ₹3800 at Southern Helmet Centre, Chennai

Orazo Picus Riding Boots size 9 - ₹3,799at Motogear, Chennai

Already got Viateraa Holeshot gloves 4 weeks ago and enjoying it too.

    Pending
Solace Gravel Denim riding jeans or Solace Coolpro v2 riding pants

    Cheers

The warranty terms, fit and finish, overall quality is way better on the Scorpion. Visors are pricey but Elliptec visors on a little higher priced scorpion like the 510 are something to kill for.

CL17 is outdated, will be replaced by i10.
CS15 is not considered here, very pricey visor for that helmet price.
Exo390 has no double D ring closure. Although it has EPS even on the chinbar.

My only concern about them is do they have official authorised dealers in India, especially in Tamil Nadu.

For MT the official authorised dealer in Chennai is just 10kms from my Home.

The fit and finish of MT Rapide is nice but it does not come with a fog visor or internal Sun visit.
However it makes up for the low weight of 1.3kg.
Is there enough space between face and the chin bar of the helmet, why am I asking is MT Matrix doesn't have much space even the communication system mic doesn't fit there freely. I guess they stopped MT matrix and renamed to Rapide with some changes.

I'd highly recommend a HJC / Scorpion if you are spending upwards of 7-8k.

    Goodluck.

That's great just what I wanted to know. I also lean forward a bit on my long highway rides. The lighter weight seems to have so many benefits.

Nice, never used a internal visor so it's bonus if it's not there, as I use a prescription sunglasses anyway. It has provision for Pinlock Maxvision though right?

Also MT Rapide seems to be their new top of the line helmet right below the carbon fibre version of the same MT Rapide right?

    Cheers

Guys also one of my riding buddies suggested MT Rapide fibreglass helmet since I enquired about an upgrade from my current 2 year old Studds Shifter.

He said the MT Rapide is very lightweight yet feels really snug fit and comfortable, which will reduce riding fatigue. Though it comes around ₹10,750 [emoji28]

Previously I was decided to get the SMK Stellar at ₹4000. Is it worth to spend almost another ₹7000 for this type of premium helmet?

Nemesis is a good jacket too. But I would recommend Tornado Pro 3 since it comes with Knox L2 protectors and Safetech L2 Back protectors.

IMO, Knox are the best protectors out there .

Nemesis does not come with any branded protectors. I would recommend you to go for branded protectors and also check if the protectors qualify the T+ T- test as I feel that is very relevant to the Indian conditions.

Try writing to Rynox and they may help you with the availability of the product.

SMK stellar is a good Polycarbonate helmet . But the Rapide is a helmet made up of Fibre Glass and thus it makes it lighter. It is also safer IMO.
Aspida jackets comes with XY brand armours (China) not well known like Knox, that's why they are not revealing the armour name in the product description.

I'd personally suggest Rynox, Aspida, Solace and then BBH. BBH items are good, but aren't great, The fit on the BBG isn't too great, my personal observation. Leaves a lot to be desired on the finish side. Secondly, Aspida and Rynox have excellent fit, again my personal experience.

    Cheers!
