I would suggest, Spartan Pro gear or Rynox for a budget of 7k INR.

Initially I was planned to buy rynox tornado pro 3 but it was out of stock on last 3 months. That's why i am looking for some other brands.

Do you suggest Aspida nemesis l2?

Solace Rival Urban and Rynox Air GT 3 seems to be really good new ones in this price segment. Small step up, at ₹7499 Raida Tourbine with future option to upgrade Chest/Back protection to Sastec, seems to be nice too.

What about your opinion on bbg xplorer ? Is that worth for 7k?

Solace Rival Urban and Rynox Air GT 3 seems to be really good new ones in this price segment. Small step up, at ₹7499 Raida Tourbine with future option to upgrade Chest/Back protection to Sastec, seems to be nice too.

Rynox are good jackets. The one area where Rynox excels is the tactile fit they offer, pretty much like another skin. The fit and finish is second to none.

Darn, I was beginning to love the look and protection of RR Gear Ranger, had metal slially.

Did you try calling them? Their FB page do have their phone number, perhaps it can help. RR is pretty much on par with Rynox.

What you need to search more on sastec - size of the protectors being used. Sastec makes many sizes for the same elbow protector part, so you need to cross check these.

Try to mail the manufacturer and see what they reply, or just check the website.

My experience -
Furious uses SC1/15 at back and CP1 chest.
On arms, Furious, TBG, Tourbine (Raida) use SC1/42

I mailed RRgear for same, no replies till date, so I removed them from my list of options.

Regarding the chest protector from Sastec, that thing alone costs a ₹1900-1950 as of now. Love it, highly ventilated, super light.

Regarding FK-R gear, they are again smaller protectors for the price you pay, while they are good, I'd prefer some better coverage or a lower price for same.

Also on that part I'd keep Knox (for jacket) on my list too, while they are a little heavy, they have also been absolutely reliable for me. Rynox Tornado Pro 3 is something I'd really add to your list around 8k.

Sure bro. So as Sastec measurements go, I guess have to settle for Raida Tourbine and after a few months think upgrade of chest and back pads to Sastec then.

Yes, FK-R jacket should be lesser by ₹1500 to make sense and compete with Solace and Rynox actually.

And slowly I'm able to finalize my first riding jacket and pants. I don't want to upgrade or update anytime in next 5 years, so want to get the best gears for Indian conditions now for long term. Level 2 all around being a priority for me.

As per your posts, SAS-TEC seems to be lighter in weight and most comfortable of all the Level 2 armours due it's flexible nature. I'm inclined to get the same.

Both are almost similar, not a major difference. I won't say textile is good for warm and humid weather, get Rival. Also the price difference isn't much, Rival gets a CE level 2 back protector. Source - I have personally been using safetech, sastec, knox, powertector, d3o and almost all good and high quality armours. I love them all since they are all unique in their offerings. I'd pick Safetech gear just for the immense value package it offers in today's market. Personally using Rynox Air GT3 and it has been great for me. Gets Safetech. Goodluck.

So I'm dismissing Scala Gears Marvel jacket from the list, since they don't seem to reveal the manufacturer of the CE L2 armours being used.

The Solace Rival series seems to be newly launched and also fits into my budget and it comes with safe-tech CE L2. The grey colour version looks good too.

They also seem to offer the Solace Defender Plus which comes with Sas-tec CE L2 armours all around at Rs5250, but it seems to be a textile jacket. Do you think it will suit me in Tamil Nadu weather. Where temperatures are humid and cross north of 38 degrees in summer.

Also please give me a small brief about Sas-tec and Safe-tech Level 2 armours. Which is one will more be comfortable yet safe etc?

I have been using the coolpro pants for more than a year now. They have been great and offer very good ventilation. Anything else specific you'd like to know?

That's great to know. Though I also really like the look of the Solace Gravel Denim Level 2 Riding Jeans at Rs5150. So many options to choose!

With what I remember from a year back, sastec is German and safetech is Italian. Sastec is bit more elastic and takes shape of your body (to a certain extent), while Safetech is more like Knox armours.... But on the more rigid side..Protection wise, both are L2 and hence you can go for it.

Cool. It's better to go with the Germans then..

On an apples to apples comparison both are great for what they have to offer. ST is German and SFT is Italian, both are L2 and are soft enough.From a comfort point of view they shouldn't have any problem. Though the size you pick for your jacket plays a role in how comfortable you are with the fit.
