Quite frankly i waited too long for Bachoo to get my size. All that he has available is size 39 & 40 Euro and i am a 44. So i recon he is just trying to get rid of the stock that he has and hence the discount. The actual cost of those highway boots is more. Again from water proofing standpoint there are Gators available from RE which i might take later on. here is a Pic of the gator.
      BOOT COVER

This is also under 2K, i have a long list of riding gear to get before my North East Nagaland ride hence i am on a stringent budget. My previous riding gear is almost rusted hence the upgrade.
While i was in the RE showroom (Bandra) i saw RE Goggles, they were amazing! it was made by a Italian company who specializes in making snorkels, sports eye ware etc they were for 4.5K, too expensive. I liked the built quality. The picture does not do justice to goggles. It has a lot of specifications like different glass for night & day riding, it had a strap, it could be dissembled completely, unbreakable, fog resentment, protected the eye from dust!
But I'm like a kid in a candy shop, So my better half just pulled me out before i could any more damage.

Looking for gloves at around 1.5k. I ride around 50 kms daily and would be using them everyday. So far I've used dsg motomesh (lasted barely 2 months) and cross (still using since 7months). I liked cramster mx3 gloves as they have used leather on the palm side. This time I want something which lasts a little more(duke's grips spoils gloves pretty quickly)

          Thank you,
For safety details on Puma you could visit Motorcycle Jackets, Motorcycle Gear, Helmets & Accessories - RevZilla and try to search a video for the boots. For Puma 1000 Race boots there is definitely a video!

Technical Specifications are not much however it has good built quality a composite toe protector and some ankle protection too.

I am a size 10 however had to pic up size 11 since my toe was not sitting straight in the size 10. I'm pretty happy since my main intentions for the boots is to ride in the winters and i think it will do a good job!
Nice going there, whiteknight. Indeed, it's very expense and falls in the category of A* SMX boots. But being Puma they are second to none.

Your best bed would be Cramster Flux, they are leather, offer very good protection, vented and offer excellent value. Plus I'd never want to reiterate about DSG Motomesh, or any mesh and Cross stuff for that and you know why.

AGV for that price point is way costlier, Zeus is a good pant too, I've never worn them, but I've seen folks who do the Raid De Himalaya in Bullet wearing entire stuffs sponsored by AOTR. And for the price they offer quite some goodies too. You have RJays All Season Pants, Spartan Odysseus, DSG Nero, AGV Solare, and quite a few, but these are the ones on the table that have been done and dusted and have gotten appreciable reviews.

Look Orazo is best for off-roading and highway rides if you have a sweaty feet like me, it gets uncomfortable real soon. But offer excellent waterproofing, in fact so much so that that I happen to dunk my foot in a puddle for more than 10 seconds, no water entered in absolutely not a single drop! But apart from that you have RJays H20, Highway boot, Rjays Sprint (best commuter ankle shoe, not a boot) and then you have the A* and then now the Puma.

But you have the JCB, etc all those normal industrial spec boots which are okay for local rides, but I'd suggest you get a proper riding boot from Rjays for the time being, all else are a tad costlier.

                        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                        THE END

I have used them for quite some time. And found it to be very good and almost the most cheap in price and good quality too.
You can find the detailed review of the product in my signature.

Do note that this is primarily meant to be used as a city riding gloves. It goes good for long rides too, but won't be suitable for cold temperatures or so..but still.

Did some gear shopping yesterday to replace my dilapidated Probiker gloves and cramster knee guards. Bought a pair of Spartan Phaeton II gloves and Perseus knee guards. Luckily enough, I got the last pieces in both

The gloves were really stiff when I bought them but broke-in after just after a few hours of riding. Now they fit perfectly.

As for pricing, the gloves were for Rs.2100 and the knee guards were for Rs.2500. Utlra VFM considering the quality and amount of protection and you get. Kudos to SPG!
