re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I was more pointing on the comfort points over some 8-10 hrs of use of SPG Perseus ............... since feature wise you cannot take it on & off as per your wish (as it is internal gear) so if you wear it to the office you will take it off only after reaching back home. And therefore it should be ergonomically very very comfortable. Now it is where I was dropping a hint to you to review after you start using themOriginally posted by <F.I> View PostSure thing. It did get a little sweaty when I was wearing it for taking the pics but I think that might change when I am on the move. Giving it a test run tomorrow. Let's see how it fares.

Guys i am back from my trip to pune along with some goodies.
Purchased a new Jacket and Gloves. Bought the Alpinestars Viper Air jacket and the Alpinestars SMX-2(Orange!!
), both look and feel decent to me but since i have a limited experience with riding gears i wont be able to comment anything just yet. I'll post something after using them for a month or so.

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I suggest you to go for Rynox Kombat. I have seen enough with DSG after purchasing Aqua & Alpinestars from them faced problems and they dont even respond if we email them. So this time i have got Rynox and they are having much good leather quality and offer more protection and the best thing i liked about them is the comfort and their top knotch leather quality and they are priced at Rs2650/- and they do free shipping ( RYNOX GEARS )Originally posted by valkyrieX7 View PostHi!
I am planning to buy DSG Primal Gloves...
Anyone who has used it, can you tell me how it is?
Also if there are any suggested alternatives?
Thank you for your time.

Preserve them for your rides and dont use them daily, get some other gloves for using daily.

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Dear Friends,
I own a yamaha ss 125. Need to buy a tank bag for daily use to office as i am suffering from back pain due to the backpack being heavy as it is stuffed with laptop, tiffin and my product samples. Daily travelling is about 30 to 40 kms to and fro.
Please suggest a good tank bag for daily use. Also will a tank bag fit on Yamaha ss125 tank(It has fibre scoops on the side). Is it ok to carry laptop on the tank. Is there enough cushion in the tank bag. Budget around 2K.
Rgds,
Amit.No Left, No Right...It's a SIMPLE BOTH HAND DRIVE

Hey buddy. I dont suggest you to carry laptop in tank bag and for 2K you will get Viaterra Ranger tank bag and if you can increase your budget to 3K you will get Rynox Optimus M tank bag ( i prefer this )Originally posted by amit_ss125 View PostDear Friends,

I personally use Vaiterra Ranger Magnetic Tank bag on my Yamaha Galdiator RS and am not satisfied with its capacity ( 12liters) which is pretty small and i end up carrying my DSLR and other small stuff. I have tried Rynox Optimus M too on my Gladiator it felt huge on the tank ( 29 liters if expanded) but it fits well , The best thing about Rynox is that you can use it as a tail bag too. Am planning to get one for me. ( Rynox is planning to launch new series of Optimus M tank bag am waiting for it )

Sandeep Patnala: Thanks for the quick reply...But i am left with no option due to back pain. Also its not a laptop but a notebook...so i guess a little cloth padding inside may do the trick. Also the roads are not that bad so the impact might be less. Is cramster turtle a good option and is it possible to use that as a tail bag. On the other hand, you say that Rynox Optimus M can be used as a tail bag. In that case, i think i should be able to keep my notebook in it and strap it to tail...suerly this may avoid damage to notebook...Your inputs/ views will be appreciated.Originally posted by Sandeep Patnala View PostHey buddy. re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
The reason i purchased Viaterra instead of Cramster tank bag was ( i was not aware of Rynox that time, so went ahead with Viaterra ), few of my friends used Cramster tank bag and their complaint was that the magnets leave scratches on the tank, which is infact scary and even with Viaterra i faced the same when i used it on my CBR250R ( i own 2 bikes so tested it on both ). Where as when i asked them about their Rynox what it heard from my friends are all positive things and the magnets doesn't leave scratches like Cramster or Viaterra, i personally saw the bag and tried it on my Yamaha Gladiator RS. It surely can take ur notebook without any effort+ many other stuff along with it ( it can actually take a full face helmet inside it once u expand the bag ) and it is water proof too.Originally posted by amit_ss125 View Post@Sandeep Patnala: Thanks for the quick reply...But i am left with no option due to back pain. Check this link for more about Rynox tank/tail bag ( Rynox Gears Optimus M tankbag/tailbag review )
You can use it as back pack too
Am eagerly waiting for them to launch their new series of Optimus M tank bag.
