By the way Can you please post some more pics of your riding pant along with the rain liner. I liked it very much & also tell me one more thing, are riding boots must and should when u wear your riding pant ! coz i see near the ankle its getting too tapered !
Hmm, my boots have a piece in front tht hides the tongue part. The thing with riding boots is that they are supposed to support the ankle and feet area that cud twist when we roll or have an nasty accident (when i had one, i remember one of my weekender shoe came off ) like the protection gear we use to protect our joints (arms/knees/back). So, while your shoe is not really a riding shoe as they were not designed with that intention in the first place (its difficult to explain like this, instead i recommend seein one to understand or watch videos of riding boots), we can say how it will behave in such incidents. Off course, like most protective gear, its not really necessary but more of precaution(my accident happened near my place where i least expected it). I hope senior members like VJ or Sunnyside sir can help with it.

Here are the pictures of my riding pants as requested

Riding pants with rain liner removed (they stick due to velcro & liner is like nylon raincoat material but better quality)

front of pants (zippers at sides for pockets & center, the belt above is adjustable)

back side

The riding pant frm spg seems similar but since i didnt c one, i cant compare.

Thanks for the pics Dude. Yah i do agree that these JCB shoes/boots r not perfect riding boots. But for people with budget in mind rather than compromising and wearing a normal meshed sports shoes i prefer these. 3 weeks back i met with a severe accident where i was thrown off my bike an fell on the other side of the divider and was dragged to some distance and that time i was wearing Converse sneakers ( Ankle length ) ( i was riding in the city so wore them ) those sneakers protected my foot from severe injury but as the upper part is made up of fabric it tore and i had small bruises on my upper part of my foot. But my foot was saved that day and it was then i decided to buy some nice hard shoe for riding in the city and so ordered these JCB Excavator right away.

Check the damage happened to my bike and check the helmet too.

Indeed these shoes will protect you since they are very gud in design as well as seem to padded very well. So i think they will definitely protect you. For below torso protection, i recommend SPG limb tubes (i have wore mine under different pants yet no-one noticed). However for touring purposes, the riding pants offer better protection due to padding.

Am totally in a confused state, in deciding which branded riding pant to purchase and even riding boots.

I liked Tour Master Solution 2.0 WP boots and as well Teknic Chicane Waterproof street boots. Teknic Defender waterproof boots are coming at a damn good price of 60$ . (http://www.revzilla.com/product/tekn...terproof-boots ) Finding a hard time to settle choose one.

Hmm, from luking at their designs & features, here's what i think

Tour Master Solution 2.0 WP boots
+long boots
+plenty of safety features
+completely waterproof
+ankle & shin protection
-expensive
-completely WP means these boots are hot, so your feet will sweat like hell in hot weathers

Teknic Chicane WP boots
+plenty of safety features
+comfy(petsonal opinion)
+ankle protection
-short aggressive style

Teknic Defender boots
+long boots
+cheapest among three
+ safety features include ankle & shin protection but not much
-supposed to wear out faster especially toe shifter area
-since it is cheaper, it may lack advanced features tht above 2 posses

Ultimately my advice is to think it out & research plenty before u buy in terms of safety, comfort & budget.

That dsnt luk gud, too bad you missed the closeout of Teknic chicane long boots (it seem they r out of production) & were track oriented. Meanwhile i tried to find similar boots & found these

Fly Street Mile Post 2 Waterproof Boots ($116.99)
Joe Rocket Sonic R Boots(116.99)
TCX X-Action Boots(118.99)

option
Fly Street Mile Post Waterproof Boots(99)

Almost all of these shoes have some gud & bad reviews. So cant say much other to research more.tc

Instead of pointing the tip of the glove, try swiping it flat surface of your finger, immediately below the tip, it works fine for me. But at times, it bugs. But 80% of the time it works.

Hi !
So the same problem with me too, but surprisingly got solved after I put an original screen/scratch guard from ScratchGuard ! costed me 450/- but works wearing my cross street gloves.. on my Lenovo P770 !

Not yet tested with the Cramster TRG2 yet...

Try the original Scratch Guard

My Rynox Kombat gloves ( which i got after replacement , as my first pair had some leather issues ) started showing wear after just 1 week of usage.

Some wear might look small but on 1 week usage if its so, then imagine after a month or two.

I've mentioned this before but here goes again. The minor scuffs that you're pointing out on your new gloves are not defects but characteristics of the leather hide that it was made from. In order to present them well in the showroom, gloves are polished to a flawless finish but as soon as they are put to use, they will start wearing, which is exactly what they are supposed to do. The cracks and fissures that you see on the surface of the leather will wear into a smooth soft finish over a period of time. You have purchased a product that is made of a rugged material that will display its characteristics. Get used to it!

As for your friends pair, the part that is giving way is the synthetic leather, not the actual base leather, which seems par for the course for this kind of material. If your famous AStars gloves made from similar material could disintegrate after just 8 months, I'd say the Rynox gloves have done a fine job for half the money!

Don't waste your money. I had these a few years ago and they have the safety characteristics of a pair of basketball shoes. They're nice and trendy but not worth the money. The ASTars shorties are far better for similar cash.

Sunnyside_up! sir, can you recommend a good riding boots from the list for sandeep & give some insight on the choices mentioned. Also, i got the forcefield limb tubes after reading your experience with them, but want to ask whether they require any special care

Some wear might look small but on 1 week usage if its so, then imagine after a month or two.

Surely i am not going with Rynox now

Sandeep Patnala: bro, in your gloves there is hardly any damage visible in the pics. may be because they are pictures and damage may be more apparent to naked eye, but i don't think any manufacturer will give replacement again.regarding your friend's gloves, the damage is clearly visible and serious, may be because that part is synthetic leather. may be we can deduce that we should not purchase gloves in which synthetic leather is used for enhancing the grip. fortunately no such issues with my Rjays gloves even after years of daily rough usage.

Oh. I do understand that the protection quotient on the full sized boots cannot be matched with these kind, but just to be clear, would this suffice for city usage ?
Also in the description of the product it is mentioned like this.

Can you please explain about this TPU thingy ? I googled it and found out its several uses, it was written it has resistance to abrasion ? any idea how well it fairs in impact resistance ? I mean is it any good ?
