    2. Any specific complaints?
    3. Individual perception. Market research seems to indicate otherwise.
    4. Read the FAQs on the website about sizing exchange. Sizing in any case is best done personally.
According to website, Red is also available in XXL size ... I don't want to go for plain black

I agree, sizing should be done personally but for the people who have time/place constraints a comprehensive sizing chart like this

Your confusion seemed to be between two similarly specced jackets - both are Mesh + Cordura models, yet you seem to have felt that the one that was ₹2k cheaper was pricey, hence my comment.
Thanks!! that clears up the confusion very well...just wanted to know what makes the material costlier and the benifits of it..

Rather than follow the horde blindly, my advice to bikers is to always make your own study and analysis about what gear suits you best personally by weighing the product purely on its merits by specification, function and performance against the money that you are willing to pay. Once you have fixed a budget for a product, the best way to shop is to compare the products logically and scientifically, with tangible and precise information instead of hearsay or "brand". IMO choice of product based on brand should ONLY be done if you have already done your own analysis and have come up with multiple choices from different brands within the same budget. Then and ONLY then, would I make a choice based on "brand".
This paragraph absolutely second it. Everyone knows Maggi is crap but marketing plays a key role and the fact that marketing makes even a inferior product be ingrained in the minds of people is a tough decision to overcome but yes a little detailed explanation like this rather than a appeasing thought would help everyone in making their decision well.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Good riding gloves in the cost of 2.5k, need them for everyday use and long tours. Have been using the revive for 3 years now and they are worn out. Any suggestions? A list and then their pros and cons would be good. Thanks

This jacket does not come with a thermal liner option. Its meant primarily for warm weather.

At 2.5K you have very good options, you have RJays Cobra Spartan Pegasus, Phaeton you have and DSG Revive, Nitro, Cramster Flux, Cramster Blaster all these are very good gloves and most of the gloves are used by many members here. The choice is yours ultimately, all are leather and some like Spartan are textile cum leather.

RS TAICHI are very good stuffs. Never had a chance to wear them but you can just check the reviews abroad in Revzilla. com they all have comprehensive, individual customer reviews. RST is resold by Spartan ProGear but at the biblical prices they are sold even for an entry level jacket, one can get a full fledged leather jacket from abroad and even glove if you're lucky enough to hunt in the close out sales section in many abroad sites, just my two cents. You can get decent mesh jackets that if not perform close to same RST.
Even a 30 lakh car has four wheels and so does a 2L car, and when they both get stuck in traffic both go no more than 20 KMPH.

But the decision is ultimately upto you to decide factor over form or form over factor.

Take time to look through the previous pages, you will find the same query many times.
There are not many options in this range. Rynox Rampage is one for rs1700, while others are in the range of rs2000+
