    Hello! Someone remembered me?

Yes, I've been using Zeus All Terrain since almost a year now.

I did an on-road test (both heat/humidity and rains) last summer.

Does a very good job. I also had a crash recently, where I rammed into a tree at considerable speed, elbow first, rib next and survived with just a bruise on elbow.
Thanks to level1 armors in jacket and my boots. Pretty sure I got saved from a major fractures. Crash was big and bike is lying in SVC for last 22 days.
What I love about them, are that the armors are right in place and this is my 3rd motorcycle jacket but the only one that fits best.

If you are looking for more mesh ventilation, checkout Zeus Arion mesh jackets once.
I recommend you to go and try them personally.

Glad you escaped with just minor injuries. Reinforces the need and importance for wearing proper riding gear while riding. Thumbs Up!

Now a* has a waterproof riding glove. Check the dsg website for more details. Minf you therlse are also not 100% waterproof, and they also cost a lot ,also using them for the rest of thr sasons can be a bit too hot to handle.

Thanks Krishna. I checked DSG, all of the a* are 3.5k+ which is completely out of my budget. I am looking for something sturdy and okayish protection from rain. Also, I am wondering if 9" gloves will fit 8" palm?

Well, I would never suggest using normal leather gloves in rain. But here is what i did with my almost 2 year old Spartan Pegasus.
I used it in moderate to heavy rainfall. Which included one full day ride in heavy rain, the gloves stood good for about 30 minutes in heavy rain, after which water started seeping in and pretty much soon enough it was fully wet and uncomfortable to wear.

Now considering small rides in rain, it will be ok, if you dry it in shade and learn to condition leather properly.

P.S: Let me say again this is not a recommended measure, but just a way if there is no other option.

The DSG aqua had many many negative reviews , no idea if they discontinued it or not. But the product wasn't behaving as it was advertised.

Guys im looking for a helmet budget 15k. Looking for something light weight and a good design. I already have a daijya but on long rides it feels a bit heavy hence looking for a change. Agv k3 is what i have been suggested, is it worth an upgrade? Open to suggestions

Also am looking for a jacket budget around the same. Was suggested spartan hyperion by a friend, Its around 10k, is it a good buy or should I look at something else since I can stretch my budget a bit. Do let me know.

For that budget you have HJC, Nexx and AGV at your disposal. For AGV K3, visit the Dainese store at Bangalore , you can check the size fit and then decide. If you can afford it then go for it eyes closed, AGV is one of the best there is in helmets..!

Any other recommendations then? Please note.. I'm looking for strictly waterproof gloves to be worn only during rainy season.. I have come to terms that all seasons glove is a myth.. Atleast for my budget..

                  Thanks

                  Cheers!

For your budget, i am not sure if anything is available, maybe some local brands, but then there will be the tradeoff of protection level. You would have to hike your budget considerably to invest in a a* glove which fits your purpose.

Yeah, i know , it is such a turn off.

That is what i too would prefer if you are low on budget, get one normal proper riding glove and one probiker or so cheap glove, and use the pro biker one when it is raining.

now here is a jugaad, never tried it , but heard from a lot of guys, use a extra liner layer underneath the gloves, like surgical gloves or some other plastic material, will help in keeping the hands dry , let the gloves get wet, you can always dry it properly after a long ride, using over the gloves makes it kinda pointless as you get almost no grip over the levers.

                        Cheers

I have no knowledge on shops in Pune area.

For jackets, currently it is the Spartan range that is most versatile, VFM and feature filled.

Go for the Helios, and if budget permits, The Hyperion.

IMHO, the AGV K3 which is an entry level helmet is not as good as some other helmets from HJC and SHARK in a similar price bracket. Make no mistake, I am not talking about it from the safety perspective. Just the overall construction, features and finish. I feel that you can get better for similar cash. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the K3 more than 15K in Bangalore?

HJC and shark are tough to find in that range right ? I mean even if we order online from Revzilla or motorsports, the tax part is really killing.
HJC after the 8.5 range is a direct jump to 30k which is quite a bit out of the common man budget.

And as far as price in bangalore goes, yes, i heard it is between 15-16k for the k2.
I am planning to get one for my brother. Need to go there and check it out.

Wonder how different the sizing will be wrt to the other models.
Any inputs on that Sunny ?
