I have never seen any of the Zeus products or have used them, so I'm not commenting anything.

As a suggetion, you can also check DSG jackets :

      DSG Genesis : 7,999.00Rs

      Or Spartan Hyperion -

      Rs 9,999

Spartan Hyperion is loaded with features, and is a real VFM. Best thing to do is, try out the jackets personally before purchasing.

You can get RJays stuff from Bachoo Motors. They are the authorized, reseller/importer of Rjays apparel.

Check their website for more info.

              Cheers!

I made an inquiry on the cramster site regarding Cramster Breezer 4S armours :

                    Hi,

I am inclined to buy this jacket but havea query.
The site mentions 5pc CE EN 1621 level 1 armour. Does it mean it comes with a back armour which is not the usual foam/ dual density armour but a CE approved armour?
Do keep in mind that when I say CE approved I mean CE EN 1621-2 rated armour which is the standard followed for spine protectors?
The shoulder and elbow armours have a CE EN 1621-1 standard to adhere to which is different from the spine standard.

                    Awaiting your reply.

                    Their reply :

                    Dear sir.

Firstly spine protector with strap comes in both ce level 1 and 2.
                    These are different products.
Jackets come with ce level 1 foam type armour in the back. These armour are invariably molded foam or similar materials and not the same as add-on spine protectors.

                    Hope we cleared your doubt.
                    Regards
                    Team

I am confused now. Are the foam/dual density type armours which come in most jackets(spartan helios/ Rjays swift,/Cramster Breezer) CE certified too?
                    The reply says :
Jackets come with ce level 1 foam type armour in the back

What does it mean? If it's not CE EN 1621-2 then it's not approved for spine protection. Is there some other CE standard these are adhering too(May be not for spine) ?

                          The price is rs. 5200/-
And two other are same as zeus and hercules boots.

But the thing is that even bachoo motors have the exact same boots (even the stitching is same and they cost a few hundred less). Now this is confusing.

Yah even i have seen another brand being sold in Banglore/ Chennai ( Ridersvilla something was the website address ) they too have same model boots as Bachoo.

The outersole of the venom boots and zeus boots are entirely same.

The website of Bachoo mentions Venom boots as waterproof which i doubt.

I don't think that there is no riding boots which is a perfect one in the price range of 10K other than Puma Bonneville ( which comes with Gore- Tex )

Exactly. Seems like these are from the same vendor and sold by different brands with their branding.
Few pages back, same concern was mentioned by another member.

But for 4.5-5.5k, these are good deals. Atleast these will provide some protection than our sports shoes.

But i feel that price tag is very high for those shoes. If you are comparing them with the shoes being sold in Revzilla at the same price. ( forget shipping & customs as am just comparing MRP)

My JCB shoes have a steel toe and even have good padding support near ankle and are water resistant too & covers the same length of the leg as these boots... and they r priced at Rs1600/-
