IN design goes in pants with no issue. The lower part of the boot is less gaudy than the A*s. Quality is absolute top notch. But the main feature that has made it reach my final 2, in spite of its astronomical price tag, is the D axial system that saves the feet from hyper extension and thus, most probably, might protect from one of the worst possible foot injury, achilles. The price is in an altogether different zone at 24K. Let me be very clear that this purchase would make me feel like a cat in an open field in torrential rains for a few months to come. I am wondering if this would be an overkill for my use ? Or is it worth spending the fortune as a riding boot is a long time buy for safety, at least I think it is a one time buy for at least half a decade or so unless something gives.
However I think they are the maximum I will need as of now. TCX X square is also there but I found them too casual looking.

Cramster had a closeout sale on them and were selling at 6950/- but it went out of stock pretty soon. The extended version(up to the shin) is on sale now Clearance Sale!, PUMA - Brutale Goretex Riding Boots. Have a look. It has Gore-tex which is a pretty strong point for it. And it's a complete black design for your batman-esque discretion requirement too
