To make money, as simple !

Selling shit at a lower price so that people are lured by the price to buy the shit only to realize after a few days/weeks/months that I was cheated ! Isn't that exactly what we mean by dumping !

My simple question, if it was a brand it would have some evidence of its existence- a facebook page/ a website to talk about its quality, country of existence, etc, etc. I couldn't find a shit ! I clearly see that Spartan is just trying to label a shitty product and sell it at a lower price because at that price it is not possible to sell quality products and if Spartan had put its own name on that product it would have hurt its own reputation. So you get a shitty product name it something and tag it as "Marketed by..Distributed by.." and to leverage on one's little built reputation to make money.

I was looking out for a jacket for office ride and the usual leisure rides in Goa's hot and humid weather. Here in Goa Spartan products are not sold through their official dealer.
We have Solace,DSG and rynox dealers here. I would like any of the owners of the following products to please rate them on ventilation under hot and humid conditions, how good is the rain liner under heavy rain( do i have to buy a separate rain coat ?) and how good is the build quality. The rest feature like armor protection, number of pokets etc are good through out this range.
    1. Rynox air gt
    2. Rynox asphalt(little above budget)
    3. Solace defender
    4. Solace Sprint
    5. DSG range is out of budget and have heard of poor build quality so will skip this brand.

My budget is max 6k for the jacket. i have gone through many post but haven't come across any reviews on the solace products. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

Try to extend your budget a bit and go for the Rynox Asphalt especially since thermal liner is not a criteria. It comes with Knox armors and they are worth it ! Eventually those are going to play a major role in saving you incase of a fall.

There are no dedicated gears shop in Gurgaon.
Head over to Delhi to shop for gears. Google for such places in Delhi and you will be able to find them easily. Some of them are Chopra automobiles @ Karol bagh, adventure18 @ satyaniketan etc.

            Hey thanks for the links.
I wanted to know how good is the rain liner on the sprint? can it be used as a normal raincoat under medium to heavy rainfall ? The solace defender jacket has the REISSA liner for waterproofing which seems to be very good in the rynox tornado pro jacket(above my budget) according to xbhpian reviews. So just need a little clarification about the extent of water proofing between the sprint and defender.

First, learn to choose your words wisely.
Secondly, the product is aimed at people who buy fake A* or Vega jackets between 3000 to 4000 rupees, due to a limited budget. To people who wear better quality jackets, this would obviously seem less. But then you can't expect Achillies' armor at this price, right?
Third, do you have any proof that SPG is involved in duping people? Or this is just an imagination? If you have some proof, please share it here and we may take necessary action.
Fourth, I have no association with SPG, nor do I own any SPG branded apparel.
Fifth, I'd want to hear from @Sunnyside_up! on this too. Is this product that poor in quality w.r.t Aspida? Or just unnecessary hoopla?
              Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Hi, I am using a Rynox Air GT for city rides. It did come with a thermal liner (don't think you'd need it in Goa) and a rain liner. THough the rain liner looks decent, I am sure it's going to be a huge mess of water seeping into this mesh jacket and pooling between the rain liner and jacket. This jacket is strictly for city use. The armors though there could have been better. I got this jacket for warm city rides and the mesh built helps a lot with the air flow. If you have similar requirement then Air GT is indeed an excellent buy for the price.

i m using sprint jacket it is having thermal liner which is waterproof. means if i wanted to use sprint jacket without
thermal liner then it it would not be waterproof then as it is mesh jacket. for goa weather you might not use thermal liner always.

i think for you the defender is better choice as it is waterproof & rissa is attached.

It looks to be a cheap generic jacket and targets the low end of the market.
There may be some cost cutting measures like a lot less mesh...or may be not too much double stitching.
Like most of the Indian jackets on sale it would have generic PU armours. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as it does the job. Spartan had a similarly priced basic jacket called the Achilles.criticizing just because it's cheap or unknown should be avoided. Remember Spartan is a startup too and they haven't been around fir a long time. But some of their products are good. I think Scimitar is their low cost branding targeted at budget shoppers.

People who wear ATGATT or atleast a pair of gloves, jackets etc everyday while commuting, how do you do manage? I just started wearing gloves everyday and i'm sick of them. I have to remove them everytime i have to use my phone/ remove the helmet, find something in my pockets or basically do anything with my hands and put them back on before riding.

Few minutes of sweat is far better than some bottles of blood.

Regarding removing gloves , my cramster does the work over the phone screen. I use bluetooth headset so that solves call receiving problem. Regarding taking out wallet and any stuff from pocket, I keep it in the ticket holder "type" pocket given in the gloves.

Why not Alpinestars Tgp Air and AGV K3/K4? After all you are getting a big bike, the impact would be more if something happens, why not go for premium things.
