I want to buy a pair of boots for riding but the budget i have is really low compared to the average price of good riding boots so i was thinking of buying the Armstrong Protecto Boots

What do you guys suggest? Should i buy these for daily use or use my sneakers until i save enough to buy actual riding boots?

3100 for this, rather add 5k more (after saving) and get dedicated riding boots. These are looking good but 3100 wrt to 7k of riding boots, it's little more

        2. DSG Triton
        3. Biking Brotherhood Ladakh Jacket
        4. Cramster Breezer 4s

Please help me with which one should I go with? If you have any suggestions apart from those mentioned please feel free to suggest.

I would highly recommend you to either go with the Tornado Pro from the above list as the armors that they are providing are Knox Armors and also it comes with a water-proof and a thermal liner, making it an all season jacket. I am vouching for it since I have been using it since quite some time and was suggested to buy this one by someone on the xbhp forum itself and trust me I am in no regret.

Though my options were either the helios and the tornado pro since both had Knox armors but then Helios did not have a thermal liner and also missed out on a CE rated Back armor and I was also impressed with the Mesh material and build quality of the Tornado pro. Also they hiked their prices to some 7800 making my choice simpler, with the Tornado Pro at 7k.

        Hope this helps buddy

Thanks for that buddy. The more options you see the more the confusion increases. Now the final list has been shortened to Rynox Tornado Pro and DSG Triton. I havent seen Rynox bit tried the Triton- The build inspires confidence but the only thing I am not sure about is the ventilation and air flow.

I agree these are nowhere near riding boots but i currently want a pair of boots for daily commutes and proper riding boots will be a lot of hassle for city traffic and i probably have to carry them around after the commute as im guessing they aren't as comfortable for walking around. I currently wear sneakers for riding. What do you suggest i wear for commutes?

Stuck with the same problem. currently using my Reebok Runners for riding.. Can't find a good riding boot in a budget. Armstrong looks good so as the ozaro boots.. Mate, have a look at the Tarmac street boots (5k) by bachoomotors.

Try JCB shoes or Army boots, I have the latter one, light, comfortable and comes with steel toe. Costed me 750 from Delhi Cantt, might get it from army shops. I am also saving fir riding boots in the mean time.

I'm inclined towards this too right now, seems good enough for a cheap price. Any other suggestions while buying them?

Rynox Tornado Pro.. Look no further. DSG has no Knox Armors and DSG products do not come with warranty and the tritom is specific is a textile jacket and you would get fried in thr summers or even morderately warm climate.

Also just checked Tornado Pro is at 10% discount at Outdoor Travel Gear in their flash sale which ends today. So you will get it at 6.3K. I would say dnt even think any further buddy.

I want to use the boots for daily use and not for the track as i plan on buying riding boots later as i save up. I didn't find anything against wearing steel toe boots for riding, can you elaborate why not to use them?

I have seen in many websites it is being said that when your shoe hits something at high speed then the steel toe part will rip off the toes also if some vehicle runs over the toe same thing will happen.. many recommends for thick leather shoes instead of steel shoe..
Regarding the track part... I was trying to say if steel toe is not allowed in track then there should be some serious safety concern...
