Nice! Stylish jacket IMHO.
~ Olympia are a small company - but they make their own gear, unlike a lot of other players, including the big names. They also manufacture for some biggies in the business.

Or should how viable is this option to get an armor like this - Thor Impact Rig Se Under Protector - RidersDiscount.com & buy another cheap mesh jacket?
My preference is to keep under $100 because I already have JR Reactor 2.0, but, the one I'm buying now is for everyday use, so I prefer something to do its job rather than the branding or image.
What I'm not sure is, there're several & unknown brands (like EXL, First Gear, Cortech, Teknic, Strike Force, Power Trip, Speed & Strength, River road) & not sure how good are these? Or do I have only one choice - Buy another expensive branded mesh jacket?
Appreciate some light on them pls. Tks.
Hey bro thanks a lot for the list.. i was too searching for the jacket and thought of this one :- FieldSheer High Flow II Mesh Jacket - $79.99 closeout special! I did some serious search, they're just too expensive for my needs. May be when I put my JR for everyday use, I can consider buying Olympia. Also, not many stores do stock them, like MCloseouts, Motorcyclegears or Cyclgears.Originally posted by Sunnyside_up! See these...
Olympia Motorcycle Jackets & Pants - RevZilla - The only one available is $130), but I didn't like the looks
Olympia Sports - Motorcycle Superstore - These guys only stock the gloves
MotoGear Outlet - Olympia Riding Jackets & http://www.bikebandit.com/brand/olympia-moto-sports - Again, nothing is less than $200
Any alternative suggestions pls Sunny?Last edited by aargee; 07-23-2011, 06:44 PM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

. Great qaulity stuff.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

No ventilation seen yet...may be because of its rain protective covering inside. more practical in monsoon and cold atmosphere.During summer it is better to use light weight cotton T shirts inside the jacket.Originally posted by aargee View PostSir, how's the ventilation? Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

Congrats on your purchase a.jayamohan.The red one looks uber-cool.I have ordered the T-rc1 in black(and the package has arrived too!) but I think the red looks seriously cool.Seems I made a wrong color choice
Anyway,You and Lijok, both say the liner is not removable but in the video review of the same jacket by STG,the liner is shown to be completely removable! I am right now out of town and will check my jacket only on Monday once I reach back.Could you guys please confirm if the liner is not removable? Or,you guys are missing something? Would highly recommend anyone buying an Olympia jacket. This is a little known company here but they are quite popular with seasoned tourers in the US. Have an Olympia Airglide 2 Mesh jacket from the past 2+ yrs and its absolutely brilliant. Lighter than most jackets available here, very good stitching and overall quality. Extensively used it in all weather conditions ranging from scorching summer afternoon to downright storm and rains. Gets a two thumbs up from my side. You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........

Me too - have used them and found them very good!
@ Argee - I thought you had settled on the Shift? That's a good choice IMHO for a budget buy and everyday riding.
