this is purely a mesh with elbow, shoulder, & back armours stitched to it. Note: this is not a jacket. so during accident, the mesh would merely rip off & the armours would just linger here & there exposing the skin.
moreover I saw this in one of the Grant Rd sores for just 1200 bucks.

this is not a jacket. one should wear this inside some other jacket. so the outer jacket may not be the riding jacket. cant comment abt the price though.

              oops, that bad
anyway, dont cry over loosing few hundreds rupees on your riding gear. it happens yaar . here are many people (fools, i must say) who have lost much more than that (and that includes me in the top of the list may be ).

              cheers.

                • Hi guys need a help here.

I am up for a riding glove change and confused between Cramster's Blaster http://www.cramster.in/images/rg-blaster-big.jpg

                  and DSG's Revive
                  DSG Revive Gloves - 1,990.00Rs

Currently i am using Cramster's Twister and it served me well for 1 year and now in state of retirement.
This time i dont want to go with a semi or full gauntlet one coz its a little cumbersome while touring(removing and putting back on)

                  • Though i have a Axo Pro race, I was recommended Revive by n_aditya so it seems to be a good choice.

These are LIFESTYLE shoes - not running or biking. Afraid that you got taken for a ride.

Not that you can't use it for those activities - but they were not specifically designed to. Also synthetic leather is actually LESS durable than genuine leather. It's used because its also cheaper than genuine leather.

By spending a little more you could have bought a dedicated riding boot that provided protection and offered durability.

                        • Guys is there anything I could put over formals while riding to office in terms of Knee pads and elbow pads.

Something that can be easily put in a bag after reaching destination. Not too bulky. I need to travel a lot in the city and go and meet people but after suffering two horrible accidents (once skidding and breaking the collar bone and second time being hit from back and having heavy bruising) I am a little shaken up now.

I can't go in for some heavy bulky and cumbersome gear which I cannot put in a bag and have to carry it around while going for a meeting.

Cramsters blaster is available only in S size. I also wanted to go for it but the correct size wasnt available.

                            • I'm confused between the DSG Maze and DSG Nero. The jacket would be mostly used for long rides. I don't particularly like riding in the rain but it would be good if the jacket can keep me dry during drizzles and I don't want to get cooked inside the jacket when its humid. Have read much about the Nero in this thread and too little discussion about the Maze. I'm thinking of going for the Maze jacket because of this "Full-grain leather construction for shoulders, cuffs & waist". Your suggestions would be of help and please point out some other jackets which I can consider for a budget of 6k

i have DSG phoenix its my first jacket and m pretty satisfied with it, it is as same as nero except the dual colour which the phoenix offers... maze is also a gud jacket on par with nero n phoenix exception is that it has leather inserts as u have mentioned... if u want protection from rain i would suggest u go for nero or phoenix cause the leather of maze will get damaged if it gets wet constantly n will spoil the look of the jacket if u don't condition it with a leather conditioner... in short it shouldnt be use for rains at all.... nero protects from rains but a heavy shower for long wont guarantee that u will be dry for a long time.... city riding Hmmm u will get cooked in the jacket in hot n humid weather if u r standstill for long, but if u r on move (15-20Kmph) then its not a prob... ventilation is pretty gud (at least in Phoenix) otherwise its a gud choice..
