Yup. The one without the flash didn't come out so good.

    Gotta borrow my friend's cam.

Well, that's due to it being on the center stand, off the stand with a rider it's okay.

            • Hi all,

Did some changes with P200 light system. As all must be aware, p200 was holding a megere 30W light halogen. TO upgrade to 60W, we need to change the chargning mechanism.

So the steps i followed :

1- Got the OLD avenger rotor system that can support 60W supply. Part name is part no. DV111005. purchased for aroung 550RS from bajaj store.

2- Got it attached to my bike from a local trusted mechanic. The socket of the neutral is replaced in the new rotor from the old rotor.

3- With philips primium 60W bulb. wasnt able to find the NightBreaker and another high segment in philips.. so had to do with this. price 99RS.

All in all 700Rs an all done. We did night ride to koyana bird sanctury starting at 02:00AM. and the difference was noticable.. although i wasn't able to make a lot of diff within city,,,, on highway its was clear difference on high beam and did helped the group..

So all in all nice change, will recommend all to do it,, but surely with OSRAM nightbreaker.

              Cheers
Only thing Gods envy of mortals is that they ride.

Nice mod, but one doubt, using an HID on High beam how will u flash? HID has a warm up time of 3-6 secs

Raje saaheb the spread of both the lights are similar . just that the 6000k has a slight blue tint and the 4300k has a yellowish tint.

Exactly. as its close to the daylight, the more u go for higher temp the more u r away from visibility especially in bad weathers. 6K is the max u can go beyond that its good only for show offs, not worth to go for being a cop magnet.

Yes, that was the bone of contention, whether to put HID in the high beam or not. It takes an excruciatingly amount of time to warm up. So far it hasn't presented me with any problems yet, the low beam is bright enough within city limits that other motorists are aware of my presence without being blinded like with the 6000K and above colour temperatures, and passing them has not been problematic uptil now. But as Navnish said, the brilliant light that I get on the highways at night more than makes up for it. It's like a floodlight out on the open roads, and other slow moving motorists stay well out of the way most of the time (barring stubborn trucks and KSRTC buses) thinking it to be a bigger vehicle.
But still, the warm-up time could have been in the order of milliseconds rather than seconds.
