My guess when you operate the pass switch, you get enough illumination as a stock bulb. Its after the warm up period that the HID reaches full intensity, i.e nearly 3 times a halogen bulb. So, no issues using the pass switch

Finally installed the high beam on Ankit aka Diehard 's bike

Bike : 2007 P220
Hid Type : H7 4300k High beam
Hid Type : H7 4300k Low beam

Here are the results

Guys i just have 1 ballast with me now if anyone wants it grab it asap. Next lot of hids will arrive only on 25th Jan .

the picture dont do justice to the real thing !! these hids are gr8 !! far far better then stock bulbs and now the whole road is lit up coz of the high beam !! too good im enjoyin it !

I want to convert the lights of my Apache 180 to DC and if possible change it to 55w. Will that drain the battery too fast? Where can i get someone who knows how to change it to DC?
P.S. Im a complete noob about electricals.

Being new to electricals, its better to get help from an auto electrician and get it rewind the stator coil and swap the RR. U can enjoy 55/60W DC lighting.

Does anyone have any pics of FZ with Angel eye reflector. I really want one & i dont know how it looks on FZ. Need to go for HID on my Bike. It really looks good on Pulsars Doom headlight. I think it might look the same because of its Oval shape design on FZ.

Sajjt projector looks too big inside the the Doom. The spread is too much on FZ. You can hardly see the road with this. I wanted to reduce the spread and see how does it look & upgrade to HID with manual installation of Angel Eye Ring.

Projectors can cost you anywhere in between 500-5000 rs. Depends on how, where and which projector you're looking at.
At Bangaluru the best place to serch projectors is Junkyard, serch there and you can find good quality projectors such as Scoda's for absolute minimal price.
Either visit your nearest bajaj SVC, bribe the machanic there and ask him to bring you a accidented P220's projector. Voilla.. You're done.

Hi Guys finally changed the headlight bulb to Osram nighbreaker with Avy Coil on My P200...
Just a few questions though:
1.wht is written on the bulb(Plz confirm this so I Could know that I have got the right bulb)
2.There is a minor lag when changed from Upper to dipper and vice-versa is this normal?
3.The light is white when the throttle is used....
