Alternate air filters
I was planning to change the air filter on my honda dazzler.. And im still a little reluctant to use the k&n as some of my friends have had bad experiences.. Are there any performance oriented foam filters i can use?
All suggestions are welcome.

Pipercross+VM28 for RE UCE350
Hi,
Don't know if this is the right forum to ask, b'cos I only see pulsars, karizmas and apaches, but I have an RE Thunderbird Twin Spark, and I wanted to try out the pipercross C0186F coupled with a VM28 carb.
Can anyone who has done this on an RE UCE 350 engine tell me is they have seen improvements in acceleration?
Can you also suggest larger jet sizes for the VM28 so I have a reduced set of jets to fiddle with?
I also need contacts in Hyderabad to up-jet the VM28 for the airfilter.
Please help out, any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Anindyo Dutta

Theres no such thing as a 'volume control screw'.... theres an airscrew that controls the the amount of air that you can let into the pilot circuit of the carb. This affects the engine response till approx 1/8th throttle, then the needle jet comes into play till about 3/4th throttle and then finally the mainjet comes into full force above 3/4th throttle till WOT. In real world tuning, each circuit overlaps into the next, you need to learn the different circuits of the carb and how to tune each optimally to achieve perfect jetting.Originally posted by Ayson View Post2) Why upjet? Why cant we just use the volume control screw?Last edited by Killer; 08-26-2010, 11:54 AM.
