go for Apache 180 awesome bike in hills as well as in city great handler and not expensive too.

Thanks Zayn...Apache is no doubt a good option..Only worry is Pillion rider comfort..I dont like to drive alone......

If you are someone who does not have issues in keeping the engine boiling at 6K+ RPM all the time to make max use of power (though you can ride it sanely too) and if you do not have issues in downshifting from 6th to 4th to overtake at 100+kmph, then this should not give you any problems. As I always mention, this is the BEST handler that this country has ever seen. This is undisputed.

As per your requirement ZMA - R is d best bike for u, and phasing out of ZMA- R , dnt worry HH will nt do dat so soon. HH ZMA R is d best touring bike of india.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

I would suggest this priority....(Wonder why Fazer came into the thread )

          1. ZMA/R15

Dont worry about R15 at hills, there are quite a number of R15s that have gone to wierd places already.

ZMA appears to be apt option for you of all as R15 is out of your budget by huge margin. And ZMA is tried and tested with spares on higher side.

rest below options are purely on your test ride results...!

          2. P220/A180
          Absolute VFMs.

          3. ZMR
If the price has been on lower side...you would have sure seen lots of ZMRs on the road.

          2008 - Yamaha YZF R15
2009 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
          2013 - KTM 390 Duke

            Thanks Dhiraj and Riaz..!!..
Well I do understand that ZMA-R fits my needs...R15 is costlier by huge margin......And I can save that extra money for some other purpose(like my marriage..) ...Im little worried abt FE of ZMA-R though...Heard its just about 25-30Kmpl..??..
And someone told me Apache would be launching 200/220 cc bike in a month or so...heard it would be full fairing and around 90K...Any idea guys??....
Is it worth waiting for this model??...Hope they come up with better pillion seat...!!..

ZMA-R: It seems VFM and a flagship model of HH. And also about 15-20K cheaper than ZMR. But it looks dated now. Too many karizmas on road and its like buying an old bike. And I heard that its FE is just about 25-30...!!
now buddy at one stage you say you are resistant in buying zmr because it is less on roads and you are resistant to buy zma-r because they are too much on roads.

both the thinking are wrong. zmr is less on roads because it is launched 11 months back, its a premium price bike not everyone can afford it.

zma-r is more on road because its on the roll for 7 years.......and its due to bullet proof quality [engine] it is still rolled out from HH factory and selling well. i am seeing more brand new zma-r on roads now a days.

zma-r mileage 25-30? ...... only desperate rippers get such mileages..........zma-r is capable of giving mileages upto 45 if ridden properly. even a cd-dawn would not give you mileage if you rip it.

this is very wrong assumption about the mileage spread-ed by people who even didnt knew anyhting regarding what causes a bike to give less mileage. so dont give much attention to such people, know the facts.

for your requirement both the versions of karizma suits you, other bikes shortlisted are also good in their category but karizma is class apart. since your daily commuting is less i personaly suggest you ZMA-R.

Rest test drive all bikles and decide.

a nice thought I must say, wonder why it never crossed Yamaha India mind/s.

With that upright seating position and that screamer of an engine. I feel sleepy riding the FZ, its so comfy.

Thanks Anmol for clearing some doubts...
I am little bit more inclined towards ZMR than ZMA-R.. But one of my friend who owns P220 told me DONT buy ZMR because people who have bought it are facing problems with it..I dont know what exactly the problems are but he said Its not worth buying ZMR...Its so confusing now for me...
My only concern is I dont want to risk my 90K bucks and then regret for life...
But my heart is still showing me ZMR and R15..!!!!...I dont know why..!!!...

And guys if I can afford R15 then which is better ZMR or R15??...( My hills usage would be only for about 1.5 years till my marriage...!!...)

Well hope till I make up my mind, Apache or Yamaha come up with new models so that I can have other choice than ZMR and R15...

The offending post by 'Its me' has been deleted. Such defiant and persistent show of attitude and usage of sms language shall be dealt in a far stricter manner at the next repetition and without warning at that. This deletion is warning enough.
