My dad has owned a CBZ classic for 11 years of which i have used it for the last 2 and i can say for a fact that it is a much better performer in terms of raw power. Top end of the FZ may be about 5km/hr higher, but that is only because you won't get a brand new CBZ classic.

Yes, i was referring to the rear brakes. Frontal stopping power is more than satisfactory on the FZ.

Dude i agree with you on the CBZ classic part.. On my last tour, I had a Ninja and a CBZ classic for company for my P220.. And each time I let the CBZ classic guy go ahead, the only way to pass it was by doing 120+ on the speedo. The 2000 CBZ classic was easily doing speeds equivalent to 120 on the P220 Speedo. Thats not what an FZ(-16/-S/Fazer) can manage thaat easily..

But the topic here is to help the poor fellow.. Please go ahead and buy the ZMA - R. Its the best buy you can make w.r.t. your requirements..

@raja_roadster - Thanks Buddy..!..Well I too was earlier thinking of ZMR...But ZMR has more waiting period and very very few ZMRs on road scares me(I have seen only 1 ZMR(red) till now...R15s are more visible in Chandigarh area though not very common..!!..)..Also it might look bigger on me...Thats why I was tilting more towards R15...

@antz.bin...& @satan...Thanks guys...I know according to the requirements which I mentioned, ZMA-R suits me the best..Fully agree with you...But the only thing which is pushing me to spend 30K more is exclusivity and technology...R15 is miles ahead in terms of technology than ZMA-R..No doubt on that...And I mentioned exclusivity because I belong to small town in Punjab(Could be first R15 in that area) and I want to go home on R15 to show some people(Joint Family issue) what I am capable of..!!...It may sound silly or stupid reason but I know how important it is for me...!!..So I am willing to ignore some of my requirements for fulfilling this desire...Well ZMR will also bring exclusivity but poor response it has got so far is a concern for me...!!..

Well Guys I have decided to book R15 on 7th Sep (instead of 7th Oct)...
And I dont think waiting period would be too much...Hope to get it before 20th Sep(my Bday..)..And which color I should go with?..I am looking to buy Red one..Is it good??..Cant buy black and Blue..doesnt suit me according to my parent's astrologer..!!...

you relized your problem when you were going to shimla.. well iam from shimla.. and you want to buy some thing... go for fazer or r15... don't think taht fazer is 74grand trust me its worth it... iam a lot in street racing... there is one bike tht beats shit out of fazer is r15 i salute it.. but when it come to steep climbs.. as you have been on the route so you must be knowing the up hill climb of 75 to 80 kms from kalka to shimla.. fazer is far better then rtr,zmr and clearly better then pulsar 220... they lack that uphill tourque you need for extreme power full and fast overtakes.. were you got to pull speed from 20 to 50 in just secnds...if you want to drive till 85 its the best but not after that... it takes hell amout of time to reach 100 and 110.. thats were it goes actuly not more then taht.. braking.. 80 to halt.. before you can even think of that to down hill.. no skids. and awesome balance.. perfectly balanced bike i must say... cornering... i wonder how mny can scrap there knees on rtr,zmr,pulsar.. i knw r15 cn do.. get a bit of racing dna after riding it soon you'll be touching your knees even on fz.. without loosing grip... drive it any way u like.. its still better then you... still cant beat how much potential its got in it..
and i read in one of the threads mentioning about its just 150... come on.. grow up.. its such an out dated thinking about cc.. look at the performace.. r15 in just 149cc... and the fastest on road.. its never abt cc... or bhp.. its about what finaly its doing on road...not on pamplets... i won't mind if tommorow.. yamaha comes with 50cc which runs 200kmph.. dude its yamaha they are focused on what they do... bikes means bike.. truely proffesional... and yamaha is not a fool to price it so high above others.. dude you got to pay for quality.. thts why you still see rx100 on road.. and why not boxer,caliber,cd dawn,cd 100 and many more cant even remember there names.. go to any yamaha guy and ask does he want to sale his bike.. he'll say aan.. no i don't unless he really needs an upgrade... and his too bored.. but go and ask any pulsar wala.. he'll say take it.. and he'll start calling you day and nite when you want to buy it sir.. you got one more option also... bullet.. and now dazzler is also out.. iam sure its good. read its reviews in bike magzine... pretty impressive tho not the looks.. because after looks performance matters a lot.. and if you have some time to wait.. wait bajaj might launch pulsar350,600 or might even start a sequence 220,221,222,223,224 and then 225 a,225 b.. 225 i,225a+b
