    2) Bike is not balanced . Leans towards the left. This is more pronounced when theres a pillion along with you . For the same reason left turns seem more comfortable that cornering towards the right .
    rests the usual
Bad bad tyres - contribute to the bumpy ride heavily . Do not invoke confidence is riding at high speeds . This I feel is the single most biggest defect in the bike . The bike can reach 100 in no time but the tyres hold you from going till there . Need to change to softer tyres asap . Flatter tyres like the one on FZ16 would be great I think . As it is the bike is taller than all the bikes out there - another negative . It means higher centre of gravity and less sped at corners . I think guys below 5'8 will find it hard to ground their feet .
    1) This is a Naked bike and no one has categorized it as a cruiser. So you can't put this thing as a negative point. Wind blasts are in the nature of naked bikes.
    2) Bike leans towards left ? So you think its like this in all 200ns ?
Get the bike balanced mate. Something is wrong with your ride. Take it to svc.
    3) Euro grips are not at the top, but not as bad as you make them sound. Not able to go above 80 ?
If you are not comfortable with the tyres, why not change them? You don't have to opt for fatter tyres for stable ride. Get softer conpound tyres. Go few pages back and you will see many discussions on this issue.

Then you will love the Duke. :P

You will be 'trying' to shift to 7th in seconds.

Even though yes the tyres may not be as good as other aftermarket ones, I still think you lost traction because of bad braking. Practice braking.

But the point is, bike isn't the thing here. Every bike has the same mechanics and a good engine oil would only provide smooth running engine and would keep on providing the same for longer kms. Dtsi may be crap, but it won't cause vibrations. That is the point i am talking about.
If you get vibs, there might be other reason for that.

Butting in late, but an engine oil is never the cause of less/more vibrations. As Nadeem bhai said, it is harshness people confuse with vibes.
I don't know if 200NS has a counter balancer or not (to smoothen out vibes).

Engine oil only flows through the entire casing to ensure all parts are well lubricated. Exactly the reason Splendors are such a hit. The engine isn't upright; rather horizontal, thus keeping ALL engine components dipped in oil already. In our bikes, with upright engines; we need to idle for 45-60 sec to ensure the engine oil is squirted at other moving components which were devoid of oil until then (while the bike was parked) and then ride for 2-3 kms at lower revs to ensure the engine comes to optimal operating temperatures.

MOTUL is better than Bajaj DTSi oil in its viscosity coefficient. It gets into smaller gaps as well and hence provides better lubrication. This way, the engine feels smoother with lesser roughening forces produced :
    1. in the engine,
    2. transferred to the engine mount bolts,
    3. then transferred to the frame and
    4. subsequently the handle bars and foot pegs.

This gives the impression of less vibes.

EDIT - BTW, did you play with AFR settings of late? A low idle can give vibrations!

1.How much your getting millage in city and Highways ..???

    2. Are you getting any vibration at 70-80 Kmph speed..??

3.is bike is smooth or rough..??/
    Sure bro

    1) Mileage depends on the speed you ride (If you ride at 50 - 65 you'll get around 40 kmpl), (If you ride at 80 kmph you'll get abouve 35 kmpl),(If you ride above 100 you'll get around 30 kmph).

    2) If you ride the bike in pot hole roads and other bad roads or reaching higher RPM's there's some vibration(but new 200ns has less vibration than older edition). The seat is very hard and have to do some changes on the seat for comfortable ride.

    3) Well it depends on the rider, If you're ripping the bike always then it's rough, if you're riding at the average of 50 to 80's in city limits and above 50 to (max speed) in highways will keep the engine smooth. If you rip it inside the city there won't be any smoothness in the engine, if you ride at proper speeds and proper maintenance is given then the bike's smoothness remains. (Using Motul will keep the bike smooth and no vibrations at higher speeds).

Whats the mileage you both are getting. And is it normal that sometimes by mistake the rpm goes to 5000 and then comes back to 3000 rpm while gear shifting. Would it affect the engine in those 5 seconds?
Absolutely not! The idea is to keep a good mix. You cannot pamper the bike more than required. Its very important to occasionally take it to higher rpms for a short duration.

IMO, no bike is a guarantied "virgin". It must have been ridden a km or two when you took delivery and more often than not the guy must have revved the life out of it. Have seen many a times. Even when you give it for servicing what the assurance that it is not revved beyond 4k rpms? Just saying.

I heard from one Bajaj Service person that Motul oil is not at all recommended for NS. He said to go for either Castrol or even Shell. I wonder why...
