Re: An Awesome looking bike after owning a CD100
RC and Duke series are completely different series from KTM. So its either Duke200/390 or RC200/390. There is nothing like Duke 200rc. Just for your info.Originally posted by deep007 View Post

Re: An Awesome looking bike after owning a CD100
Guys, just to try my luck - i asked again for cbr palm green. They say they have it.
Priced at 1,36,000
Or go for duke at 1,51,200 ?
Cbr - I love the decent type of fairing and easy go position (unlike r15).Other than that i dont like anything of cbr.
Duke 200 - only thing that makes me to hesitate to take this bike is nakedness.i kinda love the faired bikes.
Other that that i loveee everything on duke till the fat rear tyres...
[ I read many online reviews that duke will be very aggressive and beg us to rev hard and not likely for decent riders and ns is more practical bike. i think i can even go for NS but the present shades are not solid-striped with black
What about NS ? ]
Can you people brainwash me ?

Re: An Awesome looking bike after owning a CD100
200NS is a good machine and you save almost 50000 bucks right at the beginning, service is much cheaper than duke, spare parts are cheap than duke and much easily available.
of course you will have to compromise, with a carburetor in place of fuel injection system, and build quality will not be as good as duke. But of 50000 bucks less, you get an equally powerful machine.
choose wisely.I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Re: An Awesome looking bike after owning a CD100
Final decision.
I am going to book this Saturday.
I have excluded ns as the new colours are shitty AFAIK.
I have included r15.look wise i am more inclined at r15.
I drool at the fairing.
Ride quality wise i am more settled with Duke. With whatever test ride i did i got pain in the wrists after some 5minutes.
Some advice please.

Bro, the final decision is to be taken by you only. The more you would ask, the more confused you would be.Originally posted by TheMost View PostFinal decision.

If you want to go for the RC200, then you better wait for 3 months after the delivery starts.. as there might be some niggles that the company will sort out after getting the feedback from customers..Originally posted by TheMost View PostToday I am going to book Duke200 black.

Re: An Awesome looking bike after owning a CD100
Learning about your experiences, I'd say try choosing a bike with ABS.Originally posted by TheMost View PostHello people,
I want to buy a new bike within 1.5L(on road) and am really in dilemma.
Hope you people help me out to find my perfect match.
About me :
I do my 3rd year MBBS.20 years old and I weigh 68Kg with 176cms height.
I own a CD 100 and have been riding it for the past 1 and a half year.
I havent rode any other bike other than CD 100 and once Twister for 5 minutes from my friend.
I Usually Dont ride very agressively,Wait polite in traffic and dont get inside the narrow spaces(till now),But at the same time I dont mean i never speed up.I do,But just occasionally-In General,I am a polite and safety concerned.
I Have met with minor accident twice - Minor abrasions and lacerations (Due to wheel locking on panic braking)
The most fearful thing for me till now is efficient panic braking.
Live to Ride. Ride to live.

Re: An Awesome looking bike after owning a CD100
I booked the orange duke 200 - FINALLY !
I thank each and every one who have helped me in this journey.Thank you everyone for being so kind ,even answering my noob questions. Thanks a ton.
I am sure that this does not have abs.
Only apache has abs i believe - in my segment.
Is that going to be a great deal ?

Re: An Awesome looking bike after owning a CD100
Yes,Mr.TheMost The Apache RTR 180 ABS is one of the safest bikes under a Lakh. When you feel the thrill of The Apache,Only a 200NS can give that kind of thrill for that Price point. It is cheaper to maintain than the R15 and Duke 200 and also has better Mileage.Thank you[My Motorcycle]
