There are separate threads for helmets and riding gear.

First get a good helmet. For beginners, you can get Studds Shifter, retailing for some ₹1600. Its a nice helmet with inbuilt sun visor.
If you have the budget, get MT Axiss, ₹4000
[NEVER RIDE WITHOUT A HELMET]

Then get gloves and jacket. If the budget is limited, get SPG Atlas jacket (₹4000) and Rynox Rampage gloves (₹1700).

Btw, i also have the above listed things.

Ride safe and have fun.

Here you go.

Get probiker gloves for local use.. They do the job in protecting your palm and your knuckles during a fall..

The pro biker gloves will cost you roughly 300 at max if you get them online and 250 if you buy it from a store..

They saved me palm thrice last year when I had 3 falls in a spam of 30 days..

I got my orange duke today morning.
Got axxis helmet.
Feels like super upgrade.
Kinda felt that i could get some more space to sit even a bit more back.
Have to get used to the rear disk.

Conpleted 45 kms today.Currently i am driving at 6th gear at 40-45 most of the time (average mileage shows 22)

What are the things to follow till 1st service ?

TheMost.. Congratulations on the Duke. Now have fun and nice choice on the helmet.

Riding in 6th gear at low speeds would lug the engine and would in turn be more harmful. Just keep the rpms under control and try not to lug the engine.

We are here to help and more to those who do listen

3-4k rpm is good for shifting as of now. Follow what the manual mentions.

As for helmet, external size is gonna be big, but the inside padding should not be loose. The helmet should not move when worn.

Ride safe and have fun.

It does not wobble when i ride - but wobbles when i wantedly shake my head (i think this is normal).
Yeah i will read the manual

It's definitely loose. Get a replacement if possible or your investment is waste.

Congratulations on your new bike [emoji4]

Even in this size i find wearing and removing the helmet is so tight.so i am afraid even smaller than this will be so tough .

I just bought it.
I can't digest that my 4k is in vain :-(
Any solution for this ?
