I owned an rx100 for 6 years.RX 100's are supposedly made for 11bhp only.but sure ,there is some difference in 87models.but 14bhp?not for rx100 , I suppose.Originally posted by ~)~RX 100 used to pump out 14ps. The Rx 135 pumps out 12 ps (the older version the 90’s model).
reg the OP , RX135 sure is a better one.but the cult of the name "RX100" is so deep rooted ,so no brand RXG or rx135 cant attract the mass who care for rx100 logo only(thats almost 14 years back

hey guys have been searching a decently maintained bike... not able to find one. but there is one my cousin has come across. he says the bike is a 2000 model black 135 4 speed. and the guy selling is quoting 20k Rs nego. have not seen the bike yet. my cousin said he will get the bike to my place if he is happy with the bike.
well guys since i am getting a 2000 model bike for 20k nego, i wanted to know is it a good deal?
wanted to know how was the performance of the 2000 model 135 4 speed....
is there any performance changes with the early batch and last batches that were rolled out?Bikes don't spill oil, they mark their territory.

Rx 100
Hello All
guys i am getting a second hand Rx 100.i have seen one bike now.
the owner of the bike is quoting 15,500 for the 91 model bike. FC has to be done, insurance has to be paid.
the bike is in good condition though.could see the bike only for a moment cos the mechanic had to take it back to the owner place.
My mechanic says he can bargain and get the bike sold for 14000 to me and FC and insurance and minor tuning and repair costs extra.
is it a good deal for 14000?
did not see the kms done also.i too was in a hurry.
Now
is it a good deal?
What is the mileage of rx 100 that can be expected?
guys help me out with this....
thanks in advanceBikes don't spill oil, they mark their territory.

Query Approved
Well Rx 100 for 14k is not a bad deal at all, as you say the bike is in a good condition. I would advice you to ride the bike and see if you find it worth the money. And its hard to comment on the mileage, i think you should get a decent mileage between 25-35kmpl.

Its hard to say 14 k is good because without riding we can know the state of the forks and engine state.. try to find out what over size piston its running in.. and be sure to get a ride of the bike..
It hard to buy 2-strokes buddy.. even if it look like it's in good condition cant say whether the small engine part are good or not.. Be ready to shell out some money after u buy it.. Mileage not more than 30

Rx 100 for 14
That tooo 91 Model
- I belive it is too much for it
But any way you say that it is in Good condition - but make sure you trust the mechanic and if not get some good Bike gurus in your area and have a test drive of it.
Then go for a buy - you wont get the mileage beyond 35 unless a Reboring is been done
But all RX is for only performance ..................
But again im saying 14 is too much for it ............ i will be ok if its a 10K or something lesser than that
Coz i got a rx for my friend for just 9bucks that is also 91 model ..........
But it was in a SOmehow buyable condition and we spend some 8K for renovating it

Well no matter how many times you ask me i say the same, dump the idea of getting an rx 100 and get a rx 135 5 speed. i know a certain 5 speed which is up for sale but i have not seen it in person so don't know howz the condition.
But 5 speeds in bangalore mint condition you will not get nothing les than 30k man, if you are serious about it i can surely help you out."Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"
