    @ d_d200 & Frank:
Just want to point out a POINT
Like How bikes & bottles ,Oil & water....why the hell These two ( i mean Shogun & yamaha RX) never go smooth with each other
As once Frank pointed out...before internet, bike forums & stuff...a decade ago...there was brickbats flying at the streets live, when Shoguns & RX s discussed (??)
.....hm!! now I don't want to get along with it(Shogun Vs RX s)
I have made a point not to park both of my heartstrings(my Rx100 & Suzuki shogun)side by side even at my own garage...just to avoid guys taking up the age old debate
Here is my innocent humble shogun>>
Just parked outside in hot sun>>

Sometimes ..simply at dark filled streets >>

This evening after my short ride in my S.gun..just parked & went in
there came a Thunder by name YAMAHA R1(my friend Venkat from Salem) and saw it parked near my Gun

Now say , who is the trouble starter??

    Should I compare these>>

So, consoled myself & said " Where there is Suzuki Shogun....there will be Yamaha !! ( how big or small she is)"

ps: This Superbike guy Venkat, has two Shoguns apart from Yamaha RD350, Rx100 & yamaha V90...but they are dismantled & safe inside the basketfor years together
    PPS: ????????

Yes these brickbats of Yamaha vs Suzuki (in India) are not since a decade ago, they started when the RX was introduced in India. See the below image for reference (this is a News paper clipping from the year 1989, when it RX 100 Swept the First Motorcycle Road race of the year at Shaolavaram.)

All the time, Suzuki's (India) concentration, goal and Revenge to be precise, is nothing, but beating the RX-100 at Sholavaram or various National Rallies. They kept on trying to reach the magic figure of Rx's 11 bhp for many years, at last they succeeded after lot of effort

"I'm Sure all the SBK'ers are......"

I value more SHE s( super hearten bike enthusiasts) ,than SBK s & SRKs(???)..who come to my garage from long distances just to have glimpse at my junks!!

Not only SBK's some cruisers & Off roaders...( he! hee!!, will have OC rides, honestly which I don't like or try to avoid with..)

                Some Cruisers like this>>
                Yamaha Warrior!!

Even I couldn't resist going for a Pull out, great stuff..all you need is a a serious heat protective UGs to save your private parts..on long run ( dunno whether such rider gears are available

A rare 4 legged beauty like this....have no much knowledge about this, but this 4 legged Cutie will fetch 2 good 100cc Yummies or a decent RE Bullet, if the owner intend to exchange this LONG ear beast....yuck I was told that her value as on date is 100000 INR

To my surprise, her master got a mid '60s RE Bullet in exchange of this Long Ear beast!!
Now few like this...a in line 4 HONDA. 2011...which was not up to my expectations>

Now this DUKE...straight from the Showroom ( Chennai) to my garage>>

had a lots of fun with this, but too noisy Mill
any way this not a favorite for a guy like me (49 now..will be 50 in another 6 months)

Also being a Yamaha boy right from small, Putting down a request when we meet, "A Simple Ride on your Rajdoot 350" What say anna?
Why not?..oh! you need not be too formal.....only thing is when you want ride any of my Oldies...better inform at least couple of days before you intend
to come.....as you may be aware of...many of my Bikes would have not been in road for months together....need to clean her, power her ( nearly 5 batteries are dead, when we checked last week)...even the great "Barber Museum" bikes need couple of hours fiddling to make them fit to ride....mine a just local garage you now...
Both of you guys ( you & deepak) have been postponing your visit for past two months at least
Here are few RD s, which was in my garage , apart from my TDS 8081>>

This Delhi RD , i just bought for those nice exhausts,

Got the stuff & gave her a PROTON street use Chambers>>

I was transparent & informed many of our guys ( including Venkat)... Guys thought DELHI RD was inferior ....hence now our beloved Doc Aji has it at Cochin....he is very much satisfied with it....she scorches the Kochi roads, when ever his son is allowed to ride her!!
Delhi or Mumbai.....RD is RD ...what say???

Hi MuthuSir..I thought you are surrounding by bikes the moment when you are in your Garage only..but ideally you are surrounding by so many big bikes in underground..I felt wow when i seen that Yamaha Warrior, Honda Hornet 600...Great Going Sir..

"I'm Sure all the SBK'ers are......"==> complete this sentence..

Sir..had a chance to visit Innovative film city in Mysore road..there in one museum(Believe it or not) I seen old model bicycle which you have mentioned in our thread..
i.e Faseman house picture (circa '40s)..rit?..but both might be different but still i am sharing that here..

and this is the simple explanation from them..

Sir Regarding safety riding gear..Dont worry If DrSir see that KTM snaps..he wont ask about the absence of riding gears rather he will ask about the KTM bike for sure..because DrSir is in confusion now regarding which one to buy between KTM200 and upcoming Pulsar200.
Sir..one more great news..Last weekend me and Thulashi went to see Doctor..DrSir was surprised us with one more beauty in his Garage..Yes! now under one of the cover Harley Forty Eight was there..
right now this one is dominates his Garage!!

See today i gathered my breath & thought of posting about the Pearl Yamaha s. starting with the following>>>
Yamaha Moped production line up @ '60s>>

Even this Ad of early '60s carry some message for Quest to know PEARLs>

Though our Pearl Yummies had the similar power-train, but No " Auto Lube " system, which you were more particular from the day 1

Now buddy, you can do some research & come out with some Tech features...if not the history of PEARL YAMAHA!!
