    Mr.Kumar Babu,
I can understand you good intention.
But, things will work in a negative way....just don't want to elaborate here...(there is mail waiting for you)
Honestly speaking...I used to get plenty of phone calls....thinking me as a Commercial Guy who sells Classic bikes & parts...
Still ..guys who land from google search or any other links to my machines thread....just without seeing .."what's going on..".....they ask what is the price of you Jawa or BSA....."
Even after long cool explanation.....they slap with counter question>>>
THEN WHY THE HELL YOU post your pics at internet??
    Hope you got my point???

    • PIZZAZ --The last variant from KGP(makers of LAXMI 48)

      PIZZAZ
      Sounds weird ???

When KGP ( Kirloskar Gadgae Patil ltd) had no clue to answer the Indo-Jap sub 100 invasion at mid '80s
      Tried this way>>>
Their 2 speed, pedal start, front leading fork suspension, 22.5 inch wheels..LAXMI 48 was upgraded by the following "cutting edge" technology to the 4 decade old design Laxmi 48.
      First pics>>>

Hope till now....it looks like LAXMI 48!!!
Kick Starter against that pedal start>>

Kick start on the reverse as of jawa piony'r>>

!6 inch wheels against the 22.5 inch of Laxmi (or lambretta 48)

Bit modified porting, different primary & final drive ratio & a modern style Exhaust>>

Also note those separate Brake pedal..against the anti clock rotation brake of Laxmi
Big utility box under the Dual seat>>

      Instruction stickers...like modern machines>

good working Hydraulic rear shocks & Chrome fenders ( he!! he!! shared the Luna TFR one I guess)

Front Telescopic Suspension against the age old leading Forks of Laxmi's & Innocenti s

Even with factory fitted 'SAREE GUARD " fully closed " Chain cover"...it had its last laugh ...

Any way PIZZAZ is a rare find for guys like me & GPV

@ Muthu anna, I'm wondering again (wondered multiple times in this thread) How do u get these rarest & almost extinct mopeds to your collection? Helmets off to your patience and passion.

wow, with some chrome shinning bits added, looking good.

thanks, for sharing, reminded me of my dad's lambretta, we two (me and dad) and all four ( dad, mom, me and sis) shared so many long rides on it.

when we shifted to U.P. after my dad's retirement, my dad was having a hard time finding spares, and was getting old too, finally we forced him not to ride 2 wheelers any more and when i had a terrible accident in 2007, and was bedridden for 5-6 months ( i was here in pune) he sold it off to his mechanic ( pretty much gifted a nice vintage scooter in perfect running conditions with most original parts and original paint 100 % intact, in 2000 rupees). it had most parts made in italy.

before retirement he was at ordinance factory bhandara near nagpur, and he had a group of 2 wheeler enthusiasts and the group used to maintain all the scooters in the group on their own, all maintenance and repairing on their own. the last engine overhaul i remember was when i was in school and one bedroom was converted to garage and the whole dad's gang used to come after office and used to work for few hours daily for few days. my dad's gang had a few lambrettas, vijay supers, alwyn pushpaks, lambys, one was i guess a 175 CC scooter with flat side panels and foot operated gears, don't remember its name.

it was much easier to maintain the scooter as whatever part was difficult to get in market was fabricated in factory easily

i learnt riding on it, and have some very fond memories of it, sadly i don't have a picture now in digital form. the scooter had such a nice balance.

later on dad retro fitted rear-view mirrors and indicators as these were made mandatory by law.

the reason i asked you some time back about the price is that ...later i found out that there is a full industry running in delhi on lambretta scooters. these guys purchase second hand lambrettas and similar scooters and re-build it to perfect condition and export it overseas, where there is great demand of these vintage lambrettas. and indian lambrettas are considered most authentic because scooters india lts had full rights of lambretta brand name (purchased from innocenti of italy after API) before dying out and indian lambrettas were pretty much the last authentic lambrettas. you can now find almost any part in delhi made by aftermarket industry.

so i enquired my mechanic a few months back and he said he has sold it to someone, while at the time of purchasing, he said to my dad that he wants it for personal use. he must have earned a good amount on it.

                        long post....hmmnnn...

                          • Lambretta GP 200 Indian (1996)

Ah!! after acquisition of this Indian GP200, few years from now....postponed to post here all these days, any way she has done less than 30k KMS till now..but was modified bit cosmetically & a expansion chamber!!
The efforts & guts of the previous owner ( old time bike Rally rider) is appreciated !!....Only very few may have the guts to go for a " Vijai Super GP 200" at 1996, when already many Indo -Jap Bikes have planted their roots strongly in Indian soil !!
He had further modified this Body work ( aerodynamics OR looks ), Street version expansion Chambers, Mikuni VM28 carbs, ( think this was the stock part..not sure though)
any way here are the pics , clicked before SHE was shifted to my father-in-law's Mill

Note those front SUSPENSION of these Indian Gp s>>
It is kind of " leading Fork...but Not exactly a LEADING FORK, they have "real hydraulic SHOCK ABSORBERS"
                            (not dampers)
, as usual ...as it is INDIAN,
front mechanically operated "DISC Brakes" of original GP s was replaced by regular DRUM brakes ( for poor Indians who can't afford few more thousands ..would have been our M/S Scooters India's thoughts!!)
Any way ....Almost the Disc Brakes (not the latest hydraulic...pure mechanical Diskies of GP version) have been sourced....you can find it after restoration
But even now She is a tough contender to any of our New gen 4 stroke sub 150 cc machines.....I mean power wise...provided if the rider has guts to handle this Italian origin INDIAN EXPRESSO

PS: any way for easy comparison...posting a pic of regular Lambretta dh 150 "AKA" Vijai Super (request :- let us not discuss about the J125 featured in the below pic, in order to avoid hi jacking this GP200's discussion)

pps: Will get back with Tech & specs of GP200 (Indian ) after..
