      Thank you friends for the compliments !1
      I have been almost off the thread for nearly a month,

      3) Royal Enfeild's FANTABULUS Scooter >>>>>Its completed ,if I decide to settle with company paint( Faded miserably , though!!)
      But.....Let me do it,strictly sticking to original paint scheme,after completing 1 & 2

                            Are you kidding me, I'd give up most things for your Piaggio Ape. Ive only seen one other pic owned by another person in Pune and which has gone underground for a long time. Heard of another one here in the South but have got no confirmations. Please post pictures of the restoration of that one.

                            If not for the Daimler's wooden bike to the Y2K, u at least have an enviable collection of the nonpollution bicycle to the three-wheeled comercial vehicle that was once used in races.

                            Can you please post a closeup picture of the Lambretta 48's speedo and the decomp system with the lever. Im not sure if ur's is the series I or II 48. I think the ones from 1959-1961 did not come with the decompression system.

                            Cheers

                              Cool !!
                              Regarding my Piaggio Ape' (type B) , { type A is from 1947 to 1952}
                              All most 70% of resto is done,all most all missing parts except hand brake has been sourced, have to start the wooden work , painting....etc.,
                              (plz,let me post the pics after completion or else I'll post some pics of the project..)
                              * Yes ,the another Coimbatore registered (MDC_ _ _ _) type B Ape' has been picked up by a Chennai based enthusiast & will post its pic next week. ( nice Tuk Tuk Overall, but Powertrain has been replaced by Bajaj electronic ignition Engine,..........since it was a "Public Carrier" in service till it changed hands from Coimby to Madras)
                              ** Reg Lambretta 48 : sure will post pics, but mine is 1959 model without D/C provison. & also a dual cable gear selector one.

                                Here's it that Coimby Ape' type "B", picked up by a Chennai based enthusiast....you can see him driving (riding???) at Chennai vintage show!!
                                As you aware,though I had a chance to pick this a year before,but dropped the idea ,since the whole powertrain unit belongs to Bajaj FE Auto rickshaw (that to electronic)
                                *** By the way, Do you want me to post my Ape' pics before restoration???..........coz, it may be like misleading the viewers
