Vijender will reply shortly.Originally posted by Irish View PostSunny: The first magazine was fab. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the second issue as I have not received it yet by the distribution agency in Delhi. I had to send them mails to get the first one after a long wait and I waited till today for the second one and have sent mails to Mr. Negi now.
The third one is going to be released soon and I am still waiting for the second one.
If you can take this up with I & S Communique it will be of great help as I don't know if its just me or others aswell. Thats the only feedback I have for now, rest all good.
All the best.
The mag is available at a lot of places, but yes not enough. It is also available in Landmark and Crosswords but all the copies are sold out. We do get a re-order from them after a month but that gets sold out as well. We will see what we can do to make sure stock is available for display throughout.Originally posted by shrinathrao View Post@ Sunny - taken into account that your next magazine is gonna hit the stands in Feb 2011, but to be frank in pune city if you try searching for the magazine in landmark, crossword or any other place for the issue which is there in the market its not sold anywhere, Thanks to motocafe owner nikhil for which we xbhpian can atleast take a glimpse of the magazine, but if you want the magazine even to non xbhpains than i think the distribution strategy has to be reworked as the second issue was not seen anywhere after 15 days of its release in major magazine stores in pune which is quiet surprising.
Hope you look in the same.

Actually we are fueling everyone's sub conscious mind to the inevitable - most of us here will have a big bike later on. Also, as far as Indian bikes goes, in the third issue, we have more of them. But still dont expect 125cc or 150cc comparos, for that you have other mags.Originally posted by princeot View Post@SUNNY.....i love ur mag...one suggestion though
~90% of the mag contains superbikes
plz include more INDIAN bikes.....
it's not like we are living the superbike world
everytime i read it....i feel like reading a fictional book

Hi Srinath, as per information, the magazine is available at Landmark and Crossword in Pune. Probably when you visited, the stock was over. However, we will make sure that the magazine is available at these stores all the time.Originally posted by shrinathrao View Post@ Sunny - taken into account that your next magazine is gonna hit the stands in Feb 2011, but to be frank in pune city if you try searching for the magazine in landmark, crossword or any other place for the issue which is there in the market its not sold anywhere, Thanks to motocafe owner nikhil for which we xbhpian can atleast take a glimpse of the magazine, but if you want the magazine even to non xbhpains than i think the distribution strategy has to be reworked as the second issue was not seen anywhere after 15 days of its release in major magazine stores in pune which is quiet surprising.

I searched for the Entire Kollam city for Xbhp mag. The major book stalls and shops here don't even heard about it. So I lost hope, I decided to go to Trivandrum or Cochin (150 Kms for a mag
) buy one. few days later I went to a mall here, I noticed one book with white cover and green lettering on stands of a book shop. The next 30 seconds ....... borrowed 100 bucks from my frnd.. took the mag, gave money.. all happened in a flash...
. I was really surprised to see it here in my city. I think that was the only one mag sold in kollam (dont know any one bought one before me) . And for the second issue I went there after the nation wide release, it wasn't there. Disappointed. Again went there after a week. Wow!! it was there.. This time again it happened in 10 seconds coz.. I didn't needed to borrow money. Ran to the store, pick the mag, gave money, left shop. Again there was only one mag. I hope I wont miss the next one..
Loved the first and second issues of the Xbhp mag. I felt like I'm in a fantasy world of SBKs. 200 pages of absolute biking. There wasn't a bull shit. But the sad news is, The fantasy world of SBKs are still far far away from me. Its not gonna happen in near future for sure.

I buy my issues from MotoCafe in Pune they always have it in stock.Originally posted by shrinathrao View PostSunil, i am been calling landmark from 15 days asking about the existing one and today tried with new one but no results
Alright feedback time,
The cover page is seriously lacking IMHO.
Sunny, is there some philosophy regarding 'The Biker' being featured and not the bike then its my bad. But I seriously feel the cover page can be much much better. I personally would love one of your beautiful, lovely, vivid and colorful photographs on the cover.
The pictures even though are aplenty and great great photographs I might add. Some of them are obscured/destroyed by unwanted graphics/borders (you know when I'm talking about.)
Loved the Multistrada and Monster Damn'd article, I really wish I had more time to read it.
Also a very important thing, the magazine needs more girls. Seriously. A bunch of other things that I noticed when going through the magazine, but I feel its in its infancy maybe a couple of issues down the line.
Oh and all this is my friendly critical opinion and should be taken in the right sense, the magazine overall is great and I cannot credit everyone enough for coming out with it.Locking the front and flipping is the worst experience you could err experience.

Great!
Guys, first of all congratulations on the great magazine! Love the colors and the motography! Read the whole magazine in 1.5 hours!
- The xBhp pledge at the starting was really good. It kind of makes you feel like you are entering the biking brotherhood you always wanted to be in.
- Contents page is really fantastic with its tiny thumbnails to let the reader know what you want to convey.
- All that informal philosophical reflections in the Hard Torque section made me feel like I was reading something on the motorbiking philosophy.
What I would like to see in the next magazine is:
- A page or two dedicated for the news. Not all of us keep in track of the happenings online. It would be good if you guys kept us updated on the above.
- A page for the latest prices on the bikes. Not really necessary but the other day when someone here wanted to buy a TVS Wego, I couldn't refer to the magazine.
- A POSTER! A Nice poster of the bike you think deserves it! It would have been bikegasm if the current issue came with the Ducati Monster!
Well thats all for now. Will EDIT when some new ideas strike me! :P But nevertheless, this is the BEST BIKE MAGAZINE INDIA HAS RIGHT NOW. Congrats xBhp! Waiting eagerly for the next issue!

"Is Superbiking Practical in India" by Sunny is an interesting read.
Also the pictures in the magazine are really cool and are of very high standard.
