    That's awesome news man
By fun-setup, are we talking dwindling laptimes..?

    • Got back from the track day. The RTr had very good acceleration and top-end punch. Down the kari track straight, the bike clocked a best of 150kmph on the speedo.
Lap times were also good. Better than all the R15s and another modified RTR.
My RTR ran a stock cylinder head. If I had to shov the big-valve head, things would have been different.

This was at the main straight at the Kari Motor Speedway. The bike was topping at 11500rpm in 5th gear.

I can't imagine seeing 150 on the speedo... thats really fast. Which fuel do you use BTW?

foget seeing that digit.. i'm imagining how the engine sounds at that rpm..

150kmph on RTR dash is close to 140 true.. thats really good.. you'll have to see atleast 143-144 on your P220 dash for similar speeds

Ofcourse thats fast and that was nearly 20kmph more than what a p220 did there down the straight with a 165cc engine. Now I was running slightly lower air pressure at the front tire and hence there is a possibility for some more speedo error. In anycase, the speed attained was over true 130+kmph. A p220 clocked a best of 116-118kmph. Stock R15s were doing 118-119kmph.
                  I was using speed 97.

Some P220's mite touch that magic 140+ figure....but they'll take ages to reach that figure compared the RTR!

That "mite" is a big clause here mate
A pulsar's cylinder ports themselves cant flow much beyond 9000rpm. So let alone getting there.

                        Thats why I said 'some'!

135 is what all can and must do...over that is a bonus! Anyways....everyone knows how 'capable' the 220 is ...so lets leave it at that....and get back to speedcheck!

The P220 must have been me because the other P220 rider was riding very cautiously. Both my tyres were running on reduced air pressure. The speedo error of the R15 is quite big. Except for maybe you and Killer, most of us could manage to get upto 130-135 kmph mark max!

                          • Both me and Killer clocked 140kmph on his R15. On Sankar's R15, I clocked a max of 132kmph on sunday evening as it was pretty windy.
The speedo error on RTR and R15 is pretty much alike.
I was also running low pressure in both tires.

                              • So we had a speedcheck session yesterday.
I got my own speedgun, so hands were itching to try things.
Also my R15 engine was all built and a testing session was much needed.
The weather was cloudy and it was hopelessly windy. Crosswinds were the highest I've experienced.

                                The speeds in Kmph
                                Stock R15 - 119/120/122/best 125
                                Stock Unicorn - 106
RD 350 LT/HT combo build with stock pipe - 139
Unicorn with modified CBZ engine 160cc(my build) and zero aerodynamics - 122kmph
                                Psycho98s RX135 4-speed with mild works and CDI - 118
My R15 - 129/131/135/138 and recorded a best of 140 on another stretch.
                                Pics are with our boys.
