Chennai - Bangalore comes under GQ, they would'nt play such jokes there.....

NICE is a privately owned road. Govt has not invested anything. So their rules can apply.
They have their own cops, no traffic cops. Looks like this is a BOT. Will end up with the Govt later.

Surprise for all the RTR owners!!!

The 180 clocked 116kmph on the gun in slightly more than 500 mts which is really good, considering the 180 was stock.

The bone stock P180Ug3 smoked hell out of an orange RTR -FI.. In the 2km burst mode the FI was left out almost 8-9bikes length behind that too with an expert rider joel on board...
Joel's bike too wasnt spared today (Thank God!! his bike was stock today).. though in some runs where i didnt launch the bike well, the RTR went ahead(till 80kmph) and the 180 was left some 2bikes distance behind and after the 80kmph it was 180 thrusting and screaming all the way and bidding adieu to RTR till speedo indicated 128kmph which is a true 125kmph easily!!!
The 180 is hopelessly undergeared and it hits off the rev limiter even on slight uphill slopes that too within 1.6 to 1.8kms in the top gear.. with a smaller sprocket expect it to hit atleast 130 true easily...
The RTR's are built just for tracks!! Man they rule there because of their handling traits!!! but when it comes to straightline performance, Give it to pulsars... though the V1 was a lousy engine Bajaj has really worked upon ug2 and ug3's.. especially on the latter ones.. man, they have ballistic mid and top end punch..
The 180's ruling days are not over yet..

The windy conditions meant that speeds clocked this time weren't as high as the last speedcheck.
IIRC Venu sir's RX100(?) was the fastest bike at the speedcheck today. The two RD's present were a no show. They ran into problems.
The Super Unicorn sprang a leak and didn't participate atleast till me and Ajay(Black Zma) were there..

Joel didn't seem happy with the conditions today. Expect another speedcheck sometime soon...

the 180 was too good...it outran the rtr-fi clearly. zaks rx did a 139 on stock silencer and stock carb. my rx did 128 in 4th and seized on the next run

not 112 it was 113 in the first run man.. I did another run with a P150, R15 and RTR-fi that time i clocked 116.. yest i cudnt get everybody's names man, were u the one with black R15??
Ya, it was not a good day for RTR yest, I think joel bro will come up with his RTR fully loaded next time...

Did I hear the P180 outrunning the mighty RTR Fi...., Joel was saying that the RTR Fi is faster than the ZMA's even..., hopefully the next time you guys have a speed check I can be there...

Yes!! It did!!! that too with bigggggggg margin, The Fi stayed with 180 till 55kmph but as soon as the 180 was slotted into 3rd it just started pulling away and away and away!!!


Its news to mine either.. Actually i had no intentions of smoking an RTR-fi.. I just wanted to Drag with an RTR and see how good the 180 is compared to RTR.. To my surprise, the 180 was smoking RTR-fi even.. Totally almost 8-9 rounds conducted and 180 was the winner in all the runs...
