    Ahh!!!! Finally, its good to see your post Man!! Good that u are back and kicking the Speedcheck thread, This thread is soo boring without u bro!!
    As far as i remember, The Rtr-Fi posted 116 in some 500mts sprint and on the way back home pradeep was telling he was clocking 135 on dash. I have ripped an RTR-fi and even that managed some 138 at the maxxxxx on dash, to touch and cross 140 it requires a down slope man.. Remember we are talking stock to stock bikes here... Not about a bike which has undergone surgery or which has received a treatment from you.. just bring it out from showroom, finish run-in, thrash both of them and see.. I mean, no tuning rich, no tuning lean.. No carb correction, nothing..

    From long back even I've been telling that a good RTR-Fi might out run a P180 by little margin but you were referring that it'll smoke a P200 and a ZMA which i still think it cant.. Though a Pimped up RTR can eat up those high cc bikes for breakfast and dinner, a stock one cant!!!!
    Bring it on after the surgery man and this time we shall drag with a karizma and P200 in good condition, lets see if the new whiz kid RTR can take the cake from zma or a P200..
    If it does then i'm happy that my next bike is fassssssssttttttttterrrrr

    • Well a comparo with the pulsars is something I'm frankly not interested in, coz they will never compete with the RTR or the R15 in any racing event. Its only for the cribing on xbhp that we decided to do. Well, your p180 is not like anyother p180 on the streets, yours is one of those "freak" bikes which surprisingly has a good state of tune. Like I said earlier, that particular RTR Fi was not revving past 10000rpm. So thats not a valid comparision.
      Infact in anycase, if the RTR is beating the Karizma/p200 or not (which i'll come to later), its a shame on the 2 bigger bikes that a bike with 40-65cc lesser is making life hell for them. RTR is already exceeding expectations. On track and streets as well. Even with the R15 around, it gives others a run for cover.
      If you see, the task of the RTR is only to fight with the other upto 160cc bikes in its class. HOwever its eating into the others, which is definetely exceeding expectations. Its the fastest off-the-block small capacity 2-VALVE engine in the country. The R15 also has the boil to chew all the so called bigger bikes in the country with the smallest cylinder capacity.
      So lets not go by the cc of an engine. They say, there is no replacement for displacement (in the american, "bigger is better" context). But there is no replacement for an efficient engine!

          Yes, I've noticed that my bike is in good state of tune though it still returns me 43-45kmpl milege
          I'll bring another P180Ug3 next time which is in a more better tune than mine.. It has smoked my bike 3 times even after swapping the riders that bike was smoking mine the other day..
          In redlight drags I have outrun Karizma countless times but got smoked by P200 2 times...
          Yes indeed its shame on those bigger machines that even with those extra cc's they are getting smoked..
          Bigger is always better buddy provided both are running on similar technologies... U cant compare a super Short stroke, 4 valves liquid cooled engine with a hefty cruiser of more capacity.. its obvious that it'll get smoked..
          Bigger is not always better.. Its subject to conditions!!!

            Now that would spice up things even more.

            @all
            And please from hereon, please stick to STOCK engine comparos.The spruced up bikes should be used as benchmarks. But when it comes to drags please keep the Stock bikes in mind which would present the true picture of the potential of the machines.

            And yeah "Conditions Apply" tag has so many conditions in it that if one starts following it then there would not have been any sort of race events.The ambient factors,riding skills, weight all play a critical role in any race but this is how every race has worked in so many years.

              Hey, Mine is very much stock man.. Nobody has touched the carb till now, its still the company settings which come for stock bikes..
              The other P180 which smoked my bike was tuned by some local mechanic when my friends bike was returning pathetic mileage like 33-35kmpl.. after it was tuned even the power as well as mileage has gone up.. Next time i'm bringing even that bike to check out how good it is...

              @joel

                • Right now working on the Fiero full time for the upcoming drag at Hyd. I might do a speed check on sunday, if things go well and the bikes are prep'd. Need to only bench mark 400mtrs speeds. Will need to optimise the final gearing and set-ups.
                  Bikes will be my Race built Fiero, Karizma. A unicorn will also join us.

                    • This time the Fiero is back in a all new guise.
                      Its a fully race built drag bike now. Completely hand built by me. Has 35% aluminium frame work. Bike would weigh around 65-67kgs in full form. Will be running special drag tyres with really low contact profile. Its 165cc and lets talk about engine performance later. Will keep shut till the figures talk for themselves.
                      Once the bike is up, will start a new thread and post reviews/pics/performance data. For now importance is to compete in the drag on 17th and 18th at Hyd.

                          • The bike is now 55% built. Engine and other bits need to come into shape. A lot more things to be fabricated and brought together. There are hardly any stock parts in the bike. Every component in checked, weighed, strengthened/lightened before final paint/finish/assembly.
                            I spend 6 days to build the frame from scratch. Has a mono suspension with a lot more bits. Every part is redesigned and no where stock. I have many plans, but time crunch....I cant do all that I intend. Will have to bring it to running shape in 4-5 days now. The last 10 days, I have only worked on the bike for more than 12hrs a day. I wonder if I'm even normal .
