@road_ripper: was there any R15 vs P180 drag?

@road ripper:Ur 180 was smoking ma rtr-fi clearly but in the the 1st 2 runs it was hardly a bikes length and wen joel was riding against u he had already eased off the throttle..
FI had just finished its run-in also had some really weird problems never took it to 10.5k rpm previously since my bro used to ride the bike and i had no idea how it was performing...

The thing is it was not allowing rev more than 10.5krpm and also the revs were not building up smoothly..as soon as i reach higher rpm it would jus send me back to 8k rpm..So have already given ma bike to ss and they told me to collect after 2days...

But topend figs were good if not impressive..in the same 500m stretch it was doing 117kph(126speedo) on the gun..on the way back it clocked 134kph(speedo) so true speed would have been near 124kph...

As for the Speedcheck summary :
Well.. For starters, it was one of those days where pretty much everything was going awry.
It was very windy and due to the orientation, all the bikes were driving against the wind. The two strokes : One RX135, One RXZ, Two RD350's were all pretty much plagued by problems from the start.
The RD's were a major dissapointment man. One RD ran into some sparking troubles and was switching off. Didn't see a decent run from the other RD

Joel's R15 was capping out at 116k's (Before the second cop episode) Joel's RTR and the RTR-FI for some reason known only to Joel and Kushanth, were underperforming considering what we've heard them to be capable of.
IIRC, Zac was the king of the G2G on his blue RX(100??) registering a whopping 138k's on the gun

Me and Ajay left after a second round of cop trouble. Hence couldn't witness the Super-Uni in action. The Uni made the first run to kick off the G2G by registering 128 clicks and then had to be taken to a mech as it started spurting oil from the head region (Pradeep says it was a battery problem)..

The details beyond what Ive posted here have to be spelt out by Joel and Joel alone. No one can really do justice to the Speedcheck thread other than our Fieroid

yup, it was there too.. it was actually r15 vs rtr vs P180 once and in the first run it was rtrfi, r15, P150 and P180..
The first time, it was joel's blue r15 leading with me behind it by some 3bikes length and behind me was RTRfi,
in the second run me and joel were draggign and a black r15 joined us.. i guess he didnt have a good start so he backed off the throttle mid way after some 100mts i guess..

but there was nothing wrong with joel's RTR right?? he's running bigger jets, no crash guard, no saree guard etc so it weighs less too.. why was i able to smoke even that???? to add to that I weigh 72 kgs and joel weighs 68kgs and my bike weighs a hefty 143kgs, so its 143+72kgs is a lot and unless my bike was producing more power than his, it'd be impossible to get ahead of him right????

Given a choice i still Pick the RTR-fi man, the bike looks and handles too good, a compact and very chweet looking bike.. but its just in performance that 180 betters it..

Its all about keeping an engine in boil man as joel bro says.. keep the 180 in boil and it certainly can match many bigger cc machine's even...
and as far as the yesterday drag goes, the results speaks for themselves that 180 still holds on to its own and is aint an old school boy!!

@road ripper:joel's bike was running rich and u were able to match him only after some 800mtrs....we will have one more speedcheck very soon...with my FI in full power...

also ur bike seems to be quite abnormal i have ridden a few 180s and have dragged with them too...but 180s were never so fast i am talkin about digi console ones...

Joel has some problem with his eyes so he is taking rest.....he wil be back very soon and post the complete review...

@maverick:joels R15 was soing 121kph on the gun...and fyi the rx which clocked 139 on the gun belongs to zac and the one on the rx was bg.srinivas....venu sir was not present there...

super uni had some problem with battery and not with the oil leak....

Yeah!! I was able to match him and over take him after some distance because of the weight difference buddy... as i told in my last post 143+72 = 215kgs (Mine)
~132kgs+68 = 200kgs(Joel Bro)
15kgs, makes sense huh!??!!!! so he was taking off faster..
But after 90kmph its all got to do with engines power right???

Man, my poor bike has never seen anything other than the stupid pro biking service... Its tuned by those morons there... if et all joel puts his magic hand and tune my bike it will be doing even more wonders i guess
I shall arrange mine and another 180ug3 for the next check... I guess nobody took 180 to its peak abilities so all are going bonkers seeing the 180 perform this way!!

my bike does 125-126 true easily(128 on speedo) so in order to match that speed and run parallel with me ur bike needs to do atleast 136-137 on speedo and to overtake me u need to do another 2kmph atleast.. so logically u must be doing 139-140 on dash... will fi do it in normal conditions???

Everything seems to be so much fun riding it...
I've fallen in love for everything its got on its shelf... Its a perrrrrrrfect bike for me...

@road ripper:who told u that 128 on the speedo is true 125kph..fi does it easily on the way back it was even smoking uni 200 in top speeds...uni was doing some 126kph on the gun last time...
