  • Exactly, air is denser during cold morings (its winter here) and that in itself creates a huge drag. However on a dyno, the engine will surely perform better, but again depening on the state of tune. If its lean or rich.
On a hot day, the air being lighter in state helps by boosting a bit of the compression. Most stock engines, run better at sea level coz of this.

Lets see when we can hit there, should be around 11am. Will post up here.

Hey Jo, I may be out of town this weekend. But I am ready to leave my bike with a responsible person on Sunday. What say?
I have no respect for riders without helmet...

              • I dont have place to accomodate bikes. I have already my 3 bikes in my garage
But sure, we can take care of it some how.
Do one thing Tom, on sat drop the bike off at Zen. I' can ask one of my pals to ride it for me to the speedcheck.

But Joel bro, afternoon's most of the 'empty' stretches of roads also have people on them, and mornings the traffic is quite sparse. How'd you think that you'll have drags when there's traffic buzzing around

                  • Effective from yesterday midnight all nice roads are not user free they are collecting toll.

OT: Collecting toll for a road thats incomplete?? Btw, is toll payable by two wheelers also?

Edit: You should see the toll booth they have made on the Bannerghatta Road to Hosur Road stretch....its like a toll booth sprang outta no where!!!

                      • May be it's a way to complete the road!!

Joel,Any chances of shifting of the venue? If more people turn out then that very stretch would seem chaotic.I will try to bring one of my friend's ZMA!!

OT: Charging for the Bannerghatta Road - Mysore Road - Tumkur Road is ok as they have more or less completed it, except for the interchanges. But charging for Bannerghatta Road - Hosur road is ridiculous.

                              • If they start collecting Toll fee then it would make it really difficult for us to do the speed check. But we'll anyways go ahead with the plan.
