yeah!! there is always the next time.. so when is the next speedcheck due?? u get some racefuel for ur RTR and post even better speeds than ur F200.
Actually i was doing some carb tuning myself last week and i think i have messed with my bike
I was making it richer by turning screw 1/4th turns towards left side(carb) and testing the bike.. at a point i reached really good mixture and my bike was hitting the rev limiter in 5th very very soon (say within 2kms)..
(128 @ 10.4k rpm). I wud have stopped at that moment but bloody me out of curiosity turned screw another round, now the acceleration came down to stock bike and mileage is pathetic (33kmpl)..
I'm unable to get back to that tuning even after trying so much..
can u please help me on this..

Oh finally some pics. Thanks for posting the pics praful.
Looks like I'm soon breaching the speeds done by my Fiero 200. But that was a torque bomb. The RTR is still heavy, with more weight reduction, it will show better figures. I could have got easily another 2-3kmph more with mere weight reduction. And an additional 3-4kmph with optimum conditions and zero knocking. Thats enough to break 140kmph true with a 160cc engine. Now all this in 1km.sigpic

Stability? When I downsized the rubber, the suspension was also stiffened. Also the RTR feels as planted as 60kmph at 140kmph. I was just watching my friend ride down the same patch at 135kmph and the bike was glued to the road and holding a perfect line. Planning on doing the same for ur peppy R15 too? If so, I would very much love to have the figures. And more importantly, do get hold of some Pulsars(200/220/180) and put those on the dyno too and plaster the results here...Originally posted by Joel View Post
