How much did u spent for converting ur bike to full DC as my bro is planing the same for his rtr 180,can u give the details..

If he understands that this will void any sort of warranty, or even any hope of salvaging the electricals in case of a malfunction - here goes:
Ape RR - 11xx.
Stator - 850 (coz I could not get a used one).
Getting the coil rewound ~750 (I couriered it to drvmtm who got it rewound and sent back).
Installation, rewiring ~ 300 (did with help of Navnish, shreenivas in b'lore by a local mech known by navnish).

The procedure is detailed in a dedicated thread... let me know if you need the link.

Unless you are into high speed cruising at night most of the time, or ready to take up the risk involved, its better to stick with the stock setup...

have you checked with Joel how much it costs?doesn't cost a lot actually,for around 10k you can get a lot done.thts excluding the exhaust.

This was posted by joel and killer loong back in the respective thread and this is just joel's daily use bike, not the track one ,which is mindboggling.

but without exhaust , its nothing....half of that perf comes from exhaust alone..experienced it ,you can ask any tvm xbhpian for clarification ..
