First things first... This will be a rain ride so choose your months accordingly July/August

Good to see an exclusive thread started for ISG2G 2013. Thanks to Aargee and Praful.

Last time we discussed that it will be Kodai as the venue. Let me know if we need options. Kodai will be ideal for all so it will not be too short like Ooty for cbe guys.

Kindly suggest volunteer name(s) from respective city for this event.

Missed last year as my bike was stolen, full on ready this year.

Well Coonoor would also be a good option.
Can this be planned for August not including July as it would be the time of year with maximum rains.

sounds great,but Kodai I always find too crowded.Yarcud will be better with it's lazy life and love to ride those 25 hairpin bends.

Yercaud has been done twice for ISG2G's in the past

Plus July/August is off-peak season for Kodai AFAIK

Only issue I see is the long ride for everyone in rains which may be a bit risky.

I've no issues with any location as long as it's 700-800 Km from Chennai;
One suggestion from my end is - Pollachi because...
1. It's in TN
2. Not very far for KL, KA & CBE guys
3. Lot of good places to ride around
4. During monsoons, place will be even awesome
5. No risky ride as mountain or rain aren't involved

Why stop at Pollachi.. I'd say go ahead do the 40 hairpins to Valparai But that would be too too close for KL and a tad too far for TN to ride in the monsoon months IMO.

I'm a semi nomad now, so can't comment from where I'll be joining, but I'll join for sure
