  • hello everyone.
a very good evening to all

i have some questions.. expecting inputs from your side

My bike (P220F) was idle for over a month. cranked it yesterday (came to life immediately) but found some things changed..
the bike starts vibrating after 5k.. before it used to vibrate after 8.5k.
secondly the sound of the engine has changed. sounds like a bike with K&N on it. i checked the filter but it seems to fine.
    and thirdly, the poor pick-up..

what could be reason? some inputs please..

For vibes did you checked the bearings or did someone dropped her in your parking?

For further help post this issue in ownership thread of pulsar 220 as i think there you will get better help.

        Good to see you back...
Today G2G is schedule at Hotel Roopali, FC RD, are you coming for it today??
Time is 8pm onwards... Hope to see you there...
About the problem you mentioned above can be sorted out there too, get the bike along. Mostly it is because its not being used for a month now and as Shrinath pointed out someone might have dropped the bike or caused some damage during your absence...

@eshan - you had the similar issue right ? Or was it someone else?

            No man,
My bike couldn't go above 8,000rpm so forget rattling and vibrating panels...

I think this has been sorted out recently on the ride... Slow and steady increasing the accelerator...

            • Are any ninja 250 owners coming to todays g2g? And a bold question: would any owner be kind to let me test ride the ninja? I am about to book one but before going for it I think I should really experience it as against the CBR250. Sadly the PRB showroom hasnt got a N250 available to test ride it. They did promise to make one available as soon as possible though. After detailed discussion with trustvishwas and desertfox (thanks to both for their honest opinions) I am completely confused and the only thing remaining is to actually test ride both bikes. My heart wants to go for the N250 while my family says CBR250....

                        1. Check the Oil levels in your bike
                        2. Check if all nuts and bolts are tightened enough (especially the engine manifolds)
                        3. Check for play in the fairing and panels...

                              • Ah! Then get the carb drained/cleaned and inspect if the tank has any rust/impurities in it.
