well i have not used RX100 that much but people who own it says that it has to be ridden everyday to keep engine in top performing conditions. now its their ownership experiences which i am pinning down here, may be you are right and they are wrong or it can be vice versa.

I just penned down what my experience has been. And believe me when I was trying to start it after about 6 months, it just needed the choke and a few kicks and it started! No difference from how it used to behave earlier. So, instead of speculating, lets just wait for RX100 owners to comment on their experiences.

Query: 1. there was xBHP Pune chapter introduction video recorded some time back.. Did that ever get posted here or somewhere else? well i didn't attend that G2G but would love to see it. Rohan had a scary wheelspin that day after this introduction happened G2G i hear. Anybody remember?

Query 2. How is ICICI Lombard motor insurance for two wheelers? mine is due for renewal, had future generalli earlier.

those 2 things happened on 2 different days.. and ICICI lombard is good as long as you dont try to claim bonus.

@All I hope everybody is interested in the technical G2G this saturday as I have not received any emails from you people. The only way to show interest is to at least start mailing me a digital copy of the spec sheet of your own bike. That way we can gauge the interest in the technical G2G and decide if it is even required. The only reason why NV did not give the presentation was lack of interest from the members and I dont want my efforts wasted.

I'm more than interested into knowing more about engines for sure.

Actually i've been a member here for almost an year and keep visiting Pune thread everyday all this while. it's always been a fantastic thread throughout!

I work in evening shifts so have not been able to make it to weekdays g2gs. Have attended just on Lavasa ride. wonderful it was. What i liked the most is the way all member comliment each other while the riding session. People here have been cooperative overall.

My point is since xBHP is the leading portal related to Motorcyles in the country, and Pune is such a huge two wheeler city, we should have been stronger on numbers for the offline thread to boast.The first page list does not justify this status. There maybe many more members like me who keep visiting this thread but never Dare(!) to post here. I urge such silent members to start attending g2gs and rides, offiline discussions.

Lastly, those who have serious affection to machine mechanics please start confirming your participation for tech G2G antz has proposed.

We can make the safe motorcycling culture popular together.

I often see many suggestions for motorcycle makers from members but the big companies do not really read these nor they actually serve what we really demand. Reason being we dont have number with us.. Companies care for profits. and profits come from ill informed, unaware customer who are ready to buy whatever is selling there and not what they really need and deserve. I know it would be being too pompous to expect to bring about a change by ourselves but neverthless we could try!

I need it for the presentation. And I am too lazy to do all the work. This is also to give you guys a homework and background of what will be learning. The presentation will be covering very basic topics. The spec sheets are to compare what we have with what we are learning. If you have paper copies.. it is even better for spot reference... We want it to be a fun session and not like a classroom session on I.C. Engines 101

coz xbhp proposes safety & compulsory gears. Most of the bikers in the city are students in their teenage, madly in love with rash riding, forming their own groups & spending their hard earned pocket money on parties & rides. No one minds about safety or even understands it or dnt even want to bother about it.
