Yes you can but can't park. The fine is around Rs 200
As usual visitors are destroying the flowers, littering everywhere (plastic bags, bottles etc)


BTW - How was the G2G yesterday? Did it went as expected? Whats the new place for next G2G?

Well, I had recently read an article on Kaas Plateau. I goggled it and I came up with this site .. one look at pictures, I was in love with this place ... I might not be lucky to see all this but a fraction of this would make me happy .. Check this out ...

Sorry to snooze in here; How far is Ginger Hotel in Pune (Wakkad) located from Motocafe and/or NH4 connecting to Mumbai? I get a good rate for accomodation for 2 days & thought I could use it instead of spending one night at Pune & another one at Mumbai. Appreciate any help. Tks.

Ginger is on the highway towards mumbai and is like every other ginger. Quite decent. Dont know the rates though. its <20kms and about 15 minutes from the place (on a very fast- relatively traffic free road)


When are you coming? if its a matter of one night and you are not choosy about the place... and is sometime in these few weeks I could work out a 'free' deal

It is located on main highway. It would be approx. 12 km from there but on NH4 so shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to reach that place.

lol I have a place in pune where you can settle if need be.

If a low-cost-no-frill-self-service place is what you want to have, you could rather go to hinjewadi. There are these many places there where you can stay for a couple of days.

Did I read Jaisalmer? I thought you were on a GQ run.
If thats the route, you might want to post it on the mumbai thread as a few memebers did take that route and can suggest some places!

I put cost after safety & curious eyers on bike. So, I'm ok even if I'd to pay (not hefty like star hotels though)

Hinjewadi is a IT hub, these places are typically swamped by the IT folks wanting for a no nonsense secure stay access.
The CBR would harldy get any second looks in pune :P dont worry on that!

I second Praful there and infact I had such a discussion with a few folks from pune about it :P doing a GQ run is like doing Bangalore to Pune 4 times :P BORING (in capitals :P)
