Hi all,

Sandhan valley is one of mother natures very own creations that's turned out to become a masterpiece. It's a valley carved by the rain waters carving through for a few thousand years now. We shall be walking in the valley till the other end where there is a huge drop to the konkan belt. There are 3 pools of water out of which two are easy but the 2nd would be around 4ft deep at this time of the year..... The valley walls are around 3 to 10 feet apart from each other and range from 200 to 500 ft high. It's one helluva experience for everyone, guaranteed.....
P.S.- There's also a place named Konkan Kada nearby which is a semi circle shaped george or rather an overhang where you simple lie down on the edge, stick your head out and look down...... A 700 ft. drop.....

BTW i am stunned after seeing the pics of Sandhan Valley, those who can make time, pleeeaasseeee go, you are going to have a biiiiiigg surprise from our mother nature. and about konkan kada, well its a loooonnnggg pending place, have a gr8 time guys

@Kakkar abbey, why do you need someone with you (to look after you or mummy solo ride allow nahi karti ) its good to have someone along, of course, but since you have time, dont miss this stupid.......

As per my experience in Maldives- of 15 mtrs depth (am sure, gopi will share his from Mauritius experiences) Scuba diving does not require you to know swimming. I am not a swimmer!

Even if you know swimming a diving instructor always accompanies new divers. of course it cost us a bomb there(or may be coz it was dollars & everything was multiplied by 55).

The basic course began with getting used to snorkeling equipment i.e. breathing through your mouth with your nose clipped and close (Due to the mask) and the getting used to fins (the bigger task)

Point is; whether the tarkarli dive site that well equipped??
