          Nice clicks ?

They were possible because of this

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

            2. Throttle control (which is why I was saying Ghodbunder)
            3. Braking
            4. Panic Braking
            5. Formation riding

            Advanced Courses:
            1. Riding in dirt\muck
            2. Riding in Rain
            3. Night Riding
            4. Basic Troubleshooting

Let me know your views too
Ghodbandar road is in pathetic condition please avoid it . Also add some topic On Fatigue and Solo Long distance Rides ( i mean how should we plan for it and other stuff )
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

No rather it's the other way round. Considering how important safety is, we shouldn't put in a barrier as to who can attend by bringing in the money aspect. Also I'm a strong propagator of knowledge dissemination without charge for the betterment of the community as a whole, unless it's a profession of those teaching it. Things that are free will usually have a larger audience. Some of them not so serious, but that's their choice anyway. You can take a horse to drink, but you can't make him drink it, unless it's absinthe. Anyway it's still a decision of those conducting it, especially if there are costs involved.

Either way I'm in for both. One request, please hold it on weekends only.

                • If at all seniors decide that it should be a paid one, pls consider us, college going middle class lot who are genuinely saving to buy gears *_-
So spending thousands on the course as suggested in the sister forum will be pretty much tough.

And pls give the syllabus some extra thought as this (paid course) is something extremely new.
Someone suggested the electrical part be taught only to Expert level riders but I think electricals are MUST in basics also. Atleast what to do & what not to do after a stalled bike or post crash.

Actually Ashish would be the one heavily contributing on the free one. Paid one would be from Dr Arnob and others who have enough miles and the right techniques behind them
I'm totally in for this. Just like last time, Aarey colony G2G, we can have this anytime.
I think the guys who know about these things should start conducting such G2Gs in their respective neighborhoods.
Why wait for it to be official? Few months back Thane guys had one such G2G at my place, (5-8 guys only)

It's the advanced course, which will need proper planning.
Cop free location, 2-3 bikes for everyone to try eg commuter like uni/splendor. cruiser like avy, one be a RE and tourers eg zma etc
( if we can include food too, then it will be awesome)
Arn, you, Gopy, DK, Tushar are perfect for advanced things.

It's not like making money out of this exercise, but things to be covered in advanced course will cost a few bucks. It's better to share the cost and not to put the burden on few guys (gurus), who really don't need to waste their energy and time for us. They will do this for our betterment.

One more thing to be considered, is the topics covered under advanced course are quite focused. We want only those people, who are really interested in applying the knowledge gained, in daily commuting and pleasure rides.

or It will be like Gopy is explaining about AGATT and, at the back, few guys, in T-shirts, are pulling wheelies.

Since you asked, I have 5 days in hand in April (18-22) for ride.
I understand it will be very hot during that time and might not be the best of time for riding but still I wish to ride and I will ride for sure!

Can do night ride starting 17th as well to avoid the heat?

Can experienced tourers give some good idea where to ride so that I can plan accordingly?

I was considering options like Malvan, Goa, etc
Anybody willing to tag along are most welcome!
