I called S9 Helmets (Goregaon) this morning and he said that the:
1. LS2 Pumping Model (FF358) will cost about 3,200 INR and
2. LS2 Non- Pumping Models (FF 350/351) will cost around 2,600 INR.

Way better than Babloo Motors, who was quoting @ 3650 INR and 2930 INR respectively.

I also enquired regarding the same at Only Helmets (Mulund) and he quoted the prices of the:
1. LS2 Pumping Model (FF358) will cost about 3,200 INR (after discount from MRP of 3,500 INR) and
2. LS2 Non- Pumping Models (FF 350/351) will cost around 2,500 - 2,600 INR (after discount from MRP of 3,000 INR).

So which one is a much better and trustworthy dealer and store? Both of them are better than the previously mentioned Babloo Motors. Any preferences of choices that you people wish to suggest???

I tried 20 helmets in his store at the same time none of them was fitting my head (too big)- he smiled and said kiddo ur head is too big- the helmets are fine. finally the studds club was of large size.

Well I can understand your past experience but you can't expect things to repeat the same way every time

Guys, I'm Ahmedabad based xBhpian and involved in Traffic awareness and Education via an initiative called ATCC(Ahmedabad Traffic Consultative Committee).

There is a similar initiative in Mumbai as well headed by a renowned Advocate Armin Wandriwala. The organization / group is called SOOR, Sanity On Our Roads. There are looking to organize some sorts of road activities and are looking for members who can help them implement and teach Traffic awareness and road safety to the general public at large.

If anyone of you is interested in a bit of social work you can get in touch with them on their Facebook page, just search for SOOR and hopefully you will get there.

It's just off the thread topic but since it is pertaining to Mumbai, I also thought of putting it here:

I visited Babloo Motors in Vashi, Navi Mumbai today and found that he has quoted the price as:
1. LS2 FF 350/351 - 2,930 INR
2. LS2 FF 358 - 3,650 INR
I just feel as if it's a little over priced. Still can you people confirm and let me know your views on the same, so as to ensure, for how many bucks can the bargain be made? The other dealers in Mumbai at least are quoting the same at what price?

Ur getting a good deal I bought my ls2 358 at INR 3900 from Ali Bhai premji in Mumbai, great helmet!! Good comfort and quality!!!

Need suggestions regarding stay options in Satara city in case we are not allowed to spend night in Sajjangadh after seeing us all geared up :-P .... On a serious note Sajjangadh which was the abode of great saint ramdas is a holy place & they may object to couple of youngsters dropping in on fears of being disturbed although they had allowed my trek clan to stay there last monsoon but it seems our leader already had the arrangements made ... We have to follow their rules which isnt that difficult a task to maintain peace ... But trust me all this is a very small price to pay for the view and ambiance this surreal place has to offer ... So I would still prefer to stay here ... But we need to have a backup with us just in case !
