I am going to goa on 1st dec & i will be in goa for 5 days(all set to go goa)...and after goa(99 %) im planning to go ooty for 5 days....so plz friends...can u let me know the best route to reach ooty....and if possible any idea in which hotel shud i stay in ooty...shud i do advance booking or no.....tc

This route is in good condition...

Goa - Karwar - Kasargod(Exit from NH17) - Shimoga - Tarekere - Chickmanglur - Hassan - Mysore - Ooty

Goa to Ooty, Tamil Nadu - Google Maps

Traditional NH17 route..Road ahead of Gokarna are in very very bad shape.
